I have a thick pillow case on it so I haven't tried the cooling part yet. Summer is coming so I hope it does well. I like the firmness of it and it is very comfortable. I tend to use it more often than my other pillows.

Before reviewing the pillow, I do feel the need to mention how you should deal with it when it arrives. It will come heavily compressed in a box and need to breath and be fluffed to be ready to use. I ordered this pillow and another pillow from the same company (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DK7B8VX7?th=1) at the same time, and I tried manually fluffing this pillow and doing a heat free cycle in my dryer for the other one. In the end, by the end of the day, they both rose up fine, and I tumbled the other one for a half hour, and fluffed this one 3 or 4 times for a minute or two each time, so either way will work. It's good, it holds it's shape well once fluffed, but gives away slowly to shape to your head, not like a deep pocket, so if you're a slide sleeper it's not going to suffocate you or anything. Rebounds well after sleeping, and I expect it will have a long life. If you stack a few of these pillows on top of one another, they will hold shape well enough for things like reading or viewing tv in bed. I'm a hot sleeper, and I didn't notice any difference between this pillow and the other pillow I ordered from EGOHOME in that respect. Both of them seemed decidedly average for shredded memory foam, which is fine, as it's one of the best options I've found for not sweating at night. The only real difference I noticed between this style and the other style of pillow they sell is the texturing. While both have a textured surface, the style of this pillow is a little more noticeable, at least if you're using a sheer pillow case. I find that with my bamboo rayon cases it's a little less than ideal. None the less, this is a nice pillow, and I expect it will be used for quite some time to come.

The pillow is shipped in a tiny box, I thought there is no way there is a queen sized pillow in it. Sure enough vacuum packed inside was a sufficiently stuffed very nice pillow. There is no empty space inside and the jacket has a zipper should you wish to remove or add more fill.

Very flimsy DIY kit. The instructions say to add YOUR own foam for more support, Really? Even after the 24 hour sit to expand time frame the pillow has NO support. Lay your head on the pillow and it is now two pieced of material between the user and the mattress. Goodwill is on the way to Hobby Lobby to buy pillow foam. I think I will stop at Goodwill and donate this instead. Save your money unless purchasing for looks. How I rate items: 5 Stars = Exceeded my expectations. Love it and will buy again. 4 Stars = Exactly what I was looking and hoped for. Some issues. 3 Stars = Satisfactory. Minor, acceptable issues but it does the job. 2 Stars = Wouldn't recommend or buy again. May work for you but did not for me. 1 Stars = Complete waste of a product. Going to GoodWill.

This is a very comfortable pillow. I love the fact that you can adjust how thick it is by taking out stuffing. The "cooling" feature seems to be the pillowcase, and if you use a regular cotton pillowcase over it the effect isn't as noticeable. I think the whole "cooling" pillow or mattress thing is a scam, personally, so don't make that a big factor in your shopping choices. But it's a good pillow and I'm happy with it.

This is going to be hard to explain. This pillow is very comfortable, and it molds with your head. Does this keep my cool? Yes, but it's the type of cool where when you get out of the shower, and you put your wet head on a pillow then move off of it but when you lay back down the pillow is cold but feels semi wet? That's how it feels. I love it, but it's something I am not used to. I have been using it for about a week now and that odd wet cold feeling is semi going away, but I think it's because I am getting used to it. I am still using it and I'm on week 2.

I was a little nervous at first when this pillow got here because it was completely flat and all of the air was sucked out of it, but I opened it up and as soon as the air got inside, it started fluffing up right away. I slept with it that night and it was still not all the way fluffed up, but by morning I was hugging it and it felt good. By the end of the second night, I feel like the pillow was fully fluffed and extremely comfortable!!! This is by far my favorite pillow now. It's not only got comfort but it supports my neck while I sleep as well. I can squish this thing around to fit my needs better for whatever situation that I may be in. I can hug it and have my knees over it if I want to straighten out my hips a bit or I can just have my head laying on it in complete bliss while keeping my neck supported. The pillow keeps my head from sweating too. I used to wake up with my hair half wet with sweat. I never realized my pillow had a lot to do with my sweating issue. Obviously it did because I sleep much better now not waking up in a pool of sweat. It definitely helps me sleep through the night without waking up. Anyone that has problems sweating at night. I would highly suggest this pillow. It will keep you cooler at night.
