This EGOHOME 8-inch mattress has honestly improved my sleep more than I expected. It has that perfect medium-firm feel where you feel supported but not stiff, and it really takes pressure off my shoulders and hips. I don’t wake up sore anymore, and I’m able to stay asleep longer without tossing and turning. The cooling green tea gel memory foam actually works — I don’t overheat at night, and the mattress feels comfortable from the moment I lie down. It arrived rolled up in a box, expanded quickly, and had little to no smell, which was a nice surprise. We recently purchased this for our daughter's room. It came compressed in a box. After removing it from it's vacuum seal bag it took about a hour or so for it to expand. The directions in the box say to give it 24 hrs to fully set and to walk on the surface of the mattress to work out the kinks while it's expanding. My daughter could t wait to use her bed and waited just under two hours before using. She's out like a light currently so it must be comfortable. All in all this is a great little mattress. No regrets in buying, everything expanded easily, no smell, super easy set up, medium firmness. Edit: 1/14/26. We've had this a few weeks now and wanted to give an update. I'd say this mattress isn't medium firmness or medium to firm. It's definitely firm firm. I weigh over 200lbs and 6ft tall, for me it's not bad sleeping on my back and intermittently on my side but my 110lb wife and little ones under 40lbs it's more firm than they'd like. We fixed it with a 4" thick mattress topper. The mattress topper costs about the same as the bed though so if hinesight is 20/20 I'd suggest getting a 12-14 thick plush mattress for anyone under 200lbs. If you're at or over and prefer something firm then this is a great low cost mattress.

I ordered this mattress because the very expensive one I had was so firm it was like sleeping on a board. A friend has this Egohome mattress and recommended it. I was a little concerned about buying it because it’s inexpensive but decided to downsize to a twin bed ordered this mattress despite my concern. I’m very happy I bought this. I’ve slept on it for 3 nights now and it’s very comfortable. It’s a memory foam mattress and soft but not too soft and provides good support for my aching joints. It doesn’t have a strong odor either. Not only has my back pain eased, but for the first time in years, I fall asleep fast and best of all, sleep through the night without waking up.

Immediately set up after arrival. After several memory foam mattresses, one 10", one 12", this 8" memory foam mattress was hopefully going to solve hard to sit on the side of the bed with rolling edges easy to slide off I have found with many memory foam mattresses. Able to put feet on the floor easily and all my deep pocket sheets worked. The firmness best of this 8" all star surprised me. This inexpensive 8" foam mattress is a wonder. The twin size is a fully twin size, the firmness is surprisingly to me the best I have experienced so far, better than the up to $900 queen purchase, a jaw dropping value. This 8" memory foam mattress comes with a removable cover (I cannot imagine I ever will, just putting a protector on myself). Typical rolled packaging, easy to move box, unpack, and lift onto bed frame, then fully expanded in two hours. The entire bed set now includes a metal box spring frame that sites in the bed frame with a fabric cover along with the addition of a three part vertical unfolding bunkie board equalizes mattress support. Completely satisfied and thank you to all the reviewers helping me to make this choice with the carefully thought out reviews.
