RE: EGO Power+ LB6500 650 CFM Battery Variable-Speed Blower. This is my 2nd Cordless, variable-Speed Blower, and an Upgrade to my older, which I have passed on to a family member. The older model is a 530 CFM model that works like a Swiss watch. If you enjoy doing your won Landscaping and Lawn work, either by choice or Default or emergency, and you switched your Landscaping and Lawn Tools over to ECO Power lines; don't need to list all the reasons as to why. The only exception - for Tree-cutting purposes (larger than 9-inch diameters) are a small to larger Chain-saws, made by DeWalt & Stihl. . * The EGO Power+ LB650 - arrived well-packaged, and simple to assemble. * Ready-to-go, right out of the box. just some bell's & whistles to get familiar with, NP. * Light-weight and easy to maneuver, even with a 56-Volt 5.0 Ah Battery (around 5 lbs). * 3-year warranty included. * Open Lanai's or porches use - we have lot's of rain at times, and sometimes our Lanai's floors get wet, so it only takes 5 minutes with the EGO blower to dry things up, FYI. * Great Deal ! At times the EGO Store will Sell a Floor Model. I Jumped on this right away, and got an awesome deal, like 60% off! The EGO store also included a Commercial Series AN6000F Flat Blower Nozzle. ... Added BONUS use - sometimes, I will Hand-wash one of my vehicle's, before applying or re-applying a Ceramic coating. For the Rinsing step - I use the EGO blower to dry it quicker, and it works Perfectly, as it has plenty of CFM punch to blow off any excess H2O! ... Con's - are the batteries, that are quite Expensive $$$$, especially if one gets accidentally damaged or fried, and you happen to live on an outer Hawaiian island, like we do. The newer Gen models do come with a 3-year warranty, which is great, but again it's Location-dependent; as in Most cases additional S&H charges outside CONUS is and can be EITHER expensive, or, on Check-out you will get this Red Warning > "This item cannot be shipped to your selected delivery location. Please choose a different delivery location.", via AMZ. . Battery CPR - the older model is a 530 CFM model had a 56-Volt 2.5 Ah Battery that quit working one day, and laid on the bench for 2+ years gathering dust. This year, discovered a method of Reviving old battery's, and, was able to bring the 2.5 Ah Battery back to life, so when my nephew got the older blower, he also got this revived battery ... I absolutely LOVE my EGO string trimmer, but only strongly LIKE this blower. Quality and function wise, it is top notch. I just wish it were a little lighter. It probably weighs twice what my last corded blower weighed and is about the same strength on top power. I'm using a 4.0 battery and am still considering buying a smaller one. I don't want to give up the life, but also would like to see what a little less weight would feel like. Don't get me wrong, it's not that it is super heavy, I just find myself switching hands every so often, which I never did with my corded one. I think I picked a sweet spot in the range of EGO blowers, knowing the lighter ones may not have packed the power to clear out under a car, and the top models going through a battery too quickly. I do get good life with the 4.0 battery, never needing to change it to finish my job. I very much like that all their tools work on the same set of batteries and will be buying more of their products. On the plus side, it only takes half as long as the corded blower to do the same job. First, there is no finding and setting up a cord, just snap the battery in and go. Then, I no longer have to keep stopping to free the cord from under some tire, or around a bush or branch, nor do I ever have to plug it back in when I pull too far. I can also reach anywhere I want without getting a longer cord out. So, I do strongly like it, I just wished I loved it! ... show more

The765 CFM is a beast! I've never used a blower that even came close in terms of power. Cleaning off my deck I had to be careful not to blow the furniture over! It's also great for cleaning the top and bottom of a lawnmower, and for getting at the leaves, sticks and seeds that fall into that annoying little crevice modern cars all seem to have just below the windshield wipers. I've got several other EGO tools, and the main battery I use for all except the lawn mower is 6 years old and still going strong. The blower is light, well-made, and easy to use. Only one minor gripe - unlike all other tools that seem to have multiple safety features to prevent turning them on accidentally, it's actually kind of awkward trying to pick up the blower without hitting the "on" trigger. Not a big deal, but still - be careful. I haven't been disappointed by any EGO product yet. ... show more

It has a turbo button on top, if you use it hold on with both hands! :-) It used to take two batteries to blow down my driveway, patios, and walks. This is lighter, by far more powerful and I hardly used half a battery. Very pleased!

I can put the 56 volt battery from my mower into this blower and clean up my patio, porch and all my sidewalks using very little battery life. The fully adjustable trigger can control the velocity from a whisper to a a hurricane. If that's not enough, hit the turbo button to simulate a F-5 tornado! More powerful than corded electric leaf blowers as well as far quieter and lighter than gas powered blowers. Much less of a hassle maneuvering around objects than corded blowers. Could not order the EGO Power+ blower to Alaska with a battery. Originally used the 2.5 watt hour battery we had from a string trimmer. Later found a 5 watt hour battery locally, which worked much better in this blower. ... show more

Does a great job at what it does. Battery life could be better but it more than meets my needs. Position of the intake is much better than blowers I've had in the past that would stick to your clothes. It's easy to maneuver, not super light, but not overly bulky either.
