The EGO 56V 10.0Ah ARC Lithium™ Battery is the industry’s most powerful battery. Patented ARC Lithium™ design keeps the battery from overheating by pushing heat away so your equipment runs longer at full power. Its durable, shock-resistant design protects batteries from drops and the elements. Intelligent power management monitors and optimizes each individual battery cell to maximize power, performance, and runtime. This 10.0Ah battery features a fuel gauge with built-in indicator lights that show how much runtime is remaining in 20 percent increments. The 10.0Ah battery fully charges in 60 minutes with the EGO POWER+ Turbo Charger (CH7000), 70 minutes with the Rapid Charger (CH5500), 135 minutes with the 320W Charger (CH3200), and 190 minutes with the Standard Charger (CH2100). Two 10.0Ah batteries will fully charge in 160 minutes with the EGO Power+ Dual-Port Charger (CH2800D). With the industry’s most advanced battery technology, every EGO tool delivers or exceeds the power and performance of gas without the noise, fuss, or fumes.

The good news is that EGO batteries reliably deliver what they offer. That is to say, batteries at all advertised amp hour levels deliver what they say they will. I have used 6, 8, and 10 amp hour batteries - 2 at a time - in my EGO pressure sprayer, and there is a definite difference in their staying power. The bad news is that they are staggeringly expensive. One 10 amp hour battery costs almost more than the pressure sprayer itself. Very glad I purchased this 10amp battery for the Ego Lawn Mower. Reason being, the lawn mower came with a 5amp battery and I was concerned that the 5amp would not hold it's charge long enough to get done with a typical lawn mow. So I use this 10amp and can get done with 2 lawn mowings per charge! It takes me about 40 to 50 minutes to do one lawn mowing. So far, so good! (The 5amp battery serves fine as my 'back-up' battery in case I would take longer to mow or something.) ... show more

the 7.5 ah battery that came with my mower is 4 years old and showing it's age; still works but cant get the whole lawn mowed anymore. i bought this on prime day sale and its like night and day, can mow the whole yard with juice left over. its also great for the power hungry leaf blower. that thing chews through the 7.5ah way too quickly, was hard to get anything done with it ... show more

Batteries from secondary resellers seem to have issues after heavy use. I have used EGO batteries for years and the company has replaced the one faulty battery I encountered. The current batteries have a 3 year warranty but on registering, they offer a five year warranty if you accept email ads that can be cancelled after registration. It may take a few minutes to get through to the customer support, but EGO does stand by their product and a five year warranty is worth the extra money. ... show more

So very disappointed in my purchase last October 2022!!!! I gave this battery to my son for a birthday present to go along with his lawnmower that he purchased 2 years before that. He has a large yard to cut and thought that it would be nice to have an extra battery charged up ready to finish the yard. This battery only lasted 7 months!!! His original battery that came with the mower is now 3 years old and is still going strong! What a waste of $440!!! ... show more
