This is my first time hatching eggs, and this incubator made it super easy. Everything is digital, so you have to worry about it being on the right temperature or humidity. The incubator automatically rotates the eggs about every two hours. At the end of 21 days, we had two adorable baby chicks!

I was a bit skeptical… we bought this to hatch quail and our Standard coturnix eggs didn’t fit in the quail tray so we had to use the Chicken egg tray. It holds temp very very well. We struggled with humidity… but we found a work around with a small sponge. We set 24 eggs, 21 were fertile on candling day. Of the 21, 17 hatched all happy chirpy, and energetic. Very pleased with this little machine. My recommendation would be whe you lockdown your eggs…. Put paper towels down… the floor is slick and tough on there legs.

Great incubator, my only issue was that the quail egg tray had small egg slots and my jumbo quail eggs wouldn’t fit in it.

I used this to hatch quail eggs. It was fine for the first 16 days and when we unplugged it and plugged it back in, it completely died. Thankfully most of the eggs had hatched (except 1 which we made a make-shift incubator for thankfully) but if this had happened sooner, we would have lost our batch. Completely unacceptable and unpredictable product so I dont recommend at all.

Will hold around 30 coturnix quail eggs total but can only hold 16 that rotate (every other egg on outter ring only). Eggs in middle circle did not rotate. May be better suited for chicken eggs. It does hold the temperature and humidty very well. Candling feature does not work great on coturnix quail eggs. It will probably work fine for chicken eggs but cannot be fully utilized for bigger coturnix quail eggs. Pretty easy to use and not bad for a hobbyist starting out

YOU MUST USE A SEPARATE THERMOMETER FOR THIS! So far so good, Ibought this for quail eggs. The quail tray is too small for coturnix eggs. Using the chicken tray you can fit 24 eggs in it. YOU MUST USE A SEPARATE THERMOMETER FOR THIS! I can get it perfectly stable at 99.5 degrees with eggs in it but the incubator is set to 102.8. The hygrometer seems to be accurate as it matches the one I placed inside. All these little issues should not keep you from buying it but just be aware of these things and this little guy should work good for you. I will update after the hatch with pictures.
