  • Holds Quail Eggs well
Color: Red
The media could not be loaded. Such a cute idea.Intended to incubate quail at 99*F, product comes measuring in C. Purchased a small hygrometer/thermometer and it will not get warmer than 97*. C/F ratio dose not match. The humidity levels do not match either. If the heating and humidity control could be fixed it would be a amazing. Going to sadly be returning 😿 Update- not wanting to give up, I purchaed a few hygrometer and adding a heat lamp outside of the incubator. I was able to keep a consistent temperature and humidity. 6/12 hatched! ... show more

  • Works as it should
Color: Red
*I got this for my quail fertilized eggs, which worked great however, the morning they hatched two fell through the wholes and died so NOT TO BE USED for QUAIL. I had to quickly place paper towels in the water area so that no other hatchlings had the misfortune. It was a sad morning, but I have two remaining hatchlings. **the light feature doesn't work with quail eggs, watering the troth area was easy to remember. the temperature settings are not adjustable, I have read them and followed the instructions but it stay at 35, which was fine for my quail. ***My chihuahua loved the windows, I enjoyed the bus look so it was a win after fixing the whole issues. Out of 7 eggs 4 hatched. ... show more

  • Not exactly what we had hoped for...
Color: Yellow
We have had chickens for several years and have even had broody hens raise a handful of chicks in the past, however, the chickens we have now are not the 'motherly' type so we have been interested in trying an incubator to hatch some chicks ourselves. Since we are so new to incubating eggs we decided to try a dry run with this incubator before actually using fertilized eggs. It's a good thing we did. Some of the elements of this incubator are pretty good; the plastic feels sturdy enough, it is pretty easy to put together, it comes with a pair of bottles for adding the necessary water to maintain the correct humidity, and best of all it has its own 3 prong power cord. The instructions, however, are not the best. The translation into English doesn't always come out like it should. As an FYI, this incubator only operates on Celsius and there is no option for Fahrenheit. Operation of the incubator is not exactly difficult but there are some things that could be problems when actually incubating eggs. For one, adding water to maintain humidity is not easy and and unless you lift the rest of the device off of the water reservoir you can't see how much water you need or have added – plus you don't know that you have overfilled it until the water starts leaking out of a pair of holes on the bottom of the reservoir. The next thing, though we knew about it before ordering is that the eggs have to be turned manually so once again you wind up having to open it multiple times. The incubator is compact in size which helps save space but it also means there isn't a spot to place a thermometer/hygrometer inside to make sure you are maintaining the correct temperatures and humidity levels. And keeping those levels is not an easy task. Throughout our dry (eggless) run the temperature and humidity fluctuated quite a bit according to the in-built thermometer and hygrometer – and, of course we couldn't check with another device. The candler part of the incubator also doesn't seem to work with our homegrown eggs as they have thicker shells. So, can we hatch some chicks with this incubator? I'm not so sure. Would it work for day old chicks who are having trouble staying warm, it actually might. At this point, we will definitely be keeping the incubator but we will decide later if we even want to attempt hatching with it... ... show more

  • Baby chicks
Color: Yellow
This is our second year chicken keeping and we wanted to hatch our hens eggs. This incubator was easy to use for us as first timers. The only issue I had was there isn't room to let the chicks dry inside once hatched, eggs don't all hatch at the same time and when you open it to take the hatched chick out the eggs that are still in the incubator loose some of the warmth. Next time I am going to try only using half the slots so I have room for the chicks to dry inside. ... show more

  • Instructions were not clear
Color: Yellow
No clear instructions do had to YouTube it. Got a few fertilized eggs. Not sure if it works because my granddaughter was inpatient and decided to crack one egg to see if it was working and ended the process. My granddaughter is 9. I think it's better for an older kid

  • Didn't work
Color: Yellow
Was hopefully this would work for the price. But spend 50$ on hatching eggs and not one hatched. And I'm a chicken mom of 20 hens. Returned

  • Seems good, could be better
Color: Yellow
Of course after I order this our ducks decided to stop laying eggs. So looking at the incubator it looks like it should work good. I tested it without eggs and it seemed to maintain the temperature pretty good, not sure about the humidity. Candle could be a lot brighter though. Might be the eggs I had on hand were thicker shelled, but even my phone light worked better. Hopefully they will start laying again so I can give it a real good test soon. ... show more
