Nice durable incubator. Firstly the automatic humidity control feature is amazing. No more playing with vents and valves to try to get it perfect the machine does it for you. That in and of itself makes it worth it! Everything has worked flawlessly so far. The eggs have been rotating automatically, temprature and humidity has stayed at the right levels. I have a few other incubators and this one is by far my favorite. Its very easy to use and set up and you will be hatching chicks in no time!

I just got this the other day, so I obviously haven’t had enough time to hatch anything, but upon the initial check, I'm mightily impressed with this incubator. The amount of eggs this thing holds is insane. And it’s got all the bells and whistles you need to dramatically increase your chances of successfully hatching tons of birds. I was especially interested in the candling feature. None of my other incubators have that. To be honest, none of them have the level of control with the humidifier and they sure don’t mention that they’re BPA free. I’m extremely happy with this incubator and am very much looking forward to putting it through its paces in the very near future. If this works out as well as I think it will, I’ll definitely be looking at more Heninhill Chick’s products.

I've been using various incubators over the years for hatching poultry eggs, and this 72-egg capacity model with automatic turning and humidity control caught my eye for its features and price point. It includes a built-in candler, which is handy for checking development without disturbing the setup, and the automatic egg turner rocks the eggs gently every couple of hours— a nice convenience over manual turning. The incubator has solid temperature stability once dialed in, and the humidity control works reasonably well with the external water addition system, helping maintain the levels needed during different incubation stages. It does run through a LOT of water. I was refilling the water bottle 3 - 4 times a day so I bagged it and switched to a big gulp cup. The fan circulation keeps things even, and the clear viewing area lets you monitor progress easily. The built-in candler is a pretty standard addition for spot-checking fertility or development mid-cycle. That said, the "72 egg" label is a bit misleading if you're planning on standard large chicken eggs. The trays are designed with narrower slots and spacing that work perfectly for smaller eggs like quail, pigeon, or some small chicken varieties, but many regular chicken eggs—especially larger or jumbo ones—simply don't fit comfortably without forcing them. I couldn't get all my standard chicken eggs loaded properly - I only got 60 in - and goose eggs (even the smaller ones) were a complete no-go in the trays. If your goal is hatching full-sized chicken or waterfowl eggs, you'll need to find a different incubator, maybe closer to half capacity or less depending on egg size. I'm midway through my first batch now, and so far the mechanics seem promising—the gentle rocking motion and airflow through the tray holes look like they'll support good development. I'm curious to see what the final hatch rate turns out to be once lockdown hits. For folks focused on quail or smaller breeds in larger quantities, this could be a solid, feature-packed option with good value. For standard chicken eggs or anything bigger, though, I'd suggest double-checking dimensions against your egg sizes or looking for a model with more adjustable or wider trays to avoid disappointment. It's got potential, but the capacity claim needs that important caveat for realistic expectations.

This 72-egg incubator is fantastic! The large capacity makes it perfect for chickens, quail, ducks, or geese, and the automatic egg turner takes the guesswork out of the hatching process. Humidity control works very well, keeping the environment stable and ideal for successful hatching. The built-in candler is a great feature for monitoring embryo development without disturbing the eggs. The media could not be loaded. This incubator is a beast. It's heavy-duty, well-made, and works well. I wouldn't say it's beginner-friendly, but the instruction book explains things very well. I like that it can be used for various types of eggs. The settings are adjustable, and even the alarm can be set to high or low. The external water pump system works incredibly well, but I can also add water directly into the base of the incubator. The eggs fit comfortably in the cradles that rock back and forth to rotate them. It is easy to clean and use, and it works incredibly well. The humidity and temperatures maintain beautifully. I highly recommend this incubator; I'm quite impressed.
