    • Does NOT have programmed egg turning!
I bought this unit because it is small (to fit in my cabinet incubator) but also claimed to have "automatic" egg turning. However, upon arrival, I discovered 2 serious defects that resulted in my returning the unit. #1, the "automatic" egg turning is actually a gear that turns but only when you manually turn it on and off. So you cannot program this unit for a certain species of egg and expect it to turn the eggs. You have to literally push the button to turn on the gear, time how long you want it to turn, and then push the button to turn it off. That, to me, is manual egg turning. There is also the option to spin the eggs yourself with a little handle, which they are referring to as the manual egg turning. So bottom line is that they are both manual egg turning, one with a gear that you turn on/off, and one with a little handle. #2, the plug does not fit into the hole in the unit. It appears that when the cord was made, the copper wires in the cord were extended too far into the plug so there is insufficient room for the electrodes in the unit to push far enough into the plug to stay put. Even attempting to duct tape the cord to the unit did not work, there was simply not enough room in the plug for the unit's electrodes to push in and hold the cord onto the unit. So, you have to constantly replace the cord into the unit to keep it on. Two major faults that makes this unit unworthy of purchase, in my opinion. The instructions are also in broken English and very difficult to understand. There are other units on the market of comparable price that DO have TRUE programmable/"automatic" egg turning and those would be much more worth the money. Don't bother with this unit! ... show more

    • TEMPORARY REVIEW
Temporary review pending seller correspondence: at this time the product was a complete failure. The heating element is wildly unstable, it reads at 100 on screen but multiple thermostats proved it to be inaccurate. Temps might’ve been better keeping the styrofoam packaging on but there is no indication to do so. The motor to turn the eggs cannot handle even a partial loaded tray (quail eggs, which are lightweight) and the humidity struggled to stay over 50% even plugging holes and adding a sponge (not its worst offense. I would only risk using this incubator to hatch eggs that I didn’t care about losing. ... show more

The plug in doesn't not stay attached. Have to duct tape it together otherwise it does not stay attached to the back of the incubator
