Over the years I've bought every chair you can imagine. DXracer race car chair (padding locks you into one sitting position so your punished if you move), steelcase gesture ($1400 back hurts cause theres not enough padding), executive office chairs (more cushion but arm rests are too low and not adjustable for fps gaming). This is a review for the Black-L chair that costs $400. I'm a 5'7 guy, but this chair is large enough for big boys as well. I can sit legs crossed, upright for gaming, lean back with feet on the table while I watch youtube or play on my phone and I will feel comfortable all day. The bottom cushion is SUPER thick and you don't feel any wood underneath you. The adjustable arm rests are soft on the arms and have padding on the sides so if you sit cross cross your legs don't dig into metal or plastic. I've never had a pop out footrest before, but it's awesome because you don't have to awkwardly tuck your legs into the seat that your behind is occupying. I can't comment yet on the long term durability of the chair (it feels solid right now, but will it start leaning or making sounds, will the leather start to peel, how many years will it last). I need to use it longer, but I'm thoroughly impressed with this chair so far and recommend it over everything else I've wasted money on. Also, in case you're wondering, the chair arrived in only 2 days and took about 20 minutes to put together, without a single issue, nothing damaged during shipment.

I purchased this Efomao Ergonomic Office Chair back in July 2025 and waited to write a review until I could give a long-term assessment, and I'm really impressed with this chair. It's genuinely comfortable, and I appreciate that the black PU leather material of the chair looks much nicer and more expensive than its price point suggests. The chair has a very roomy seat and great ergonomic features, including the adjustable height, adjustable armrests, and lumbar support. The back reclines significantly, and the footrest is retractable, making it perfect for those moments when I need to lean back and relax. The integrated headrest is comfortable, too. I'm 5 feet tall, and the chair was a bit too high for me, even at the lowest setting. I reached out to customer support, and they immediately offered a fix by sending a shorter gas cylinder and upgraded rubber wheels. The supportive customer service, ensuring that I got a perfect fit and that I was completely satisfied with my purchase, really confirmed my choice. Overall, this is a comfortable, quality chair with excellent adjustability and support.

I work full-time from home and needed a chair that could handle long hours without falling apart. My previous chair lasted five years. This one? It didn’t even make it three weeks. The (very few) pros: It's big. It moves easily. Setup was simple. Now for the problems: One of the armrests broke almost immediately. Every time I shift my weight or adjust my posture, it loudly slips downward. I’ve had to mute myself during calls just to avoid startling people with the noise. Seriously? At this price, I expected WAY more durability. It’s uncomfortable. The lower back support juts out awkwardly and the upper back area feels neglected, which left me with back pain after just a few hours. For a chair meant for long hours, this is unacceptable. The recline function is just bizarre. It’s either fully upright or WAY too far back. There’s no in-between. You can lock it at one position, but you can't control or limit the range of the recline. Super frustrating. Unfortunately, I tossed the box so I’m not even sure if I can return it. But if I can’t, it still won’t be staying in my home office much longer. Avoid this one.

Excellent chair. - High headrest. It's nice and soft and feels so good to rest my head back for a little while. - Adjustable armrests. The height adjusts with a button and also the width adjusts. The width adjusts by choosing a different hole when assembling. I got mine together and decided it was too wide for where my elbows wanted to sit so I changed it. Now it's perfect. - Firm bottom. At first it seems too hard but then you realize it's great and will not flatten easy like some others. - Rocks back. - Pull out foot rest when reclining. I fall asleep in this chair sometimes and wake up refreshed. Other times, I just put my feet against the foot rest and lean back - comfortable position. - It rolls very easily across the floor. I spend a lot of time in a chair and I am 6'1" 235 so I need a chair that can go the distance without me feeling pain. This one does it! Very happy with this purchase.

This is a comfy, large chair. It's easy to put together, despite it's size. That said, I've been having an issue with the recline lock getting stuck, A LOT. I tend to adjust the recline of my chairs often, depending on what I'm doing, and this chair will sometimes get stuck locked into the fully upright position to the point I have to violently shake the back of the chair for it to "unlock." I am aware of the recline lock lever on the right side of the chair, but when it's fully upright, I'll still hear the click as the slide lock comes out but the chair will not fully recline at times. I have the tension knob turned up (I'm about 260lbs so I have to have it turned up or the chair reclines back WAY too quickly). Now, I can't get the chair to go back to the full upright position when the slide lock is unlocked and can only lock it in it's "second position." I haven't even had this chair a month and it's already having these issues. The locked in fully upright position problem started days after I got it all fully assembled, and yes I followed the instructions to the letter during assembly. I shouldn't be having these issues with a $350 chair this soon into buying it. Would be a 5 star chair if I didn't have these reclining lock issues.

I wanted to love this chair so bad! It's so comfy. My feet never touched the floor, so I'd need a foot rest. I am 5' 2", 117 lbs for size reference. When I set it up it was unbalanced. It wobbles. I saw other reviews reporting the same problem, but I took a chance. I was able to put it together by myself, having another person would have been helpful. I could not get it to really recline very well. Do NOT toss the box out, hold onto it incase you have to return it. I accidentally tossed the box and it was a nightmare sending it back, I had to return it in 3 separately shipped boxes.
