  • So far, it's great
Style: DELTA Pro+400W Solar Panel
I have to deal with hurricanes in Florida, along with frequent power outages. I bought this because I work from home, and having no power is not an option (before the EcoFlow, I have used various batteries, and a Ninja solar battery). The EcoFlow will be used inside, not outside. I'm currently running multiple tests (I'll post updates as I get them). So far, everything is working within specifications. As others have stated, it's heavy. You won't be carrying it around with you during a hike. The phone app is very cool (lots of config options). I noticed the available battery power is always changing, because the watts in-use fluctuates. It does make determining how long the battery will actually last...impossible. You'll have to run your own tests on the devices you want powered (especially for a disaster scenario). It has low noise (but not zero). Has a nice, bright digital panel, which you can adjust the brightness and standby time for. The 2 available battery expansion ports are awesome; perhaps a future purchase. I did email the company about a question I had, and got an immediate response. So, that's good. First impression is, I like it. Is it worth $5,200? I think in a disaster scenario, yes (I know what it's like to have no power for 5 days). If you're using it to power tools at a worksite, probably not. A generator would be cheaper, and fine for outdoor use. UPDATES more to come... -MrNetTek ... show more

  • This portable solar generatorcan handle up to 3,600 Watts with great options for expandability!
Style: DELTA Pro+400W Solar Panel
Overall this is a really great product. I dislike that the fan engages when you draw over 70 watts. The fan isn't loud but it isn't very silent either. I used it to power my laptop system as a test for work to set appointments. The customers complained about the background noise when the fan kicked on while I was setting appointments. The unit weighs 98 lbs. which is heavy but manageable for me to pickup. It moves around nicely on its wheel base. I plan to store the unit long term for emergency. I reallllly dislike having to charge the unit every 90 days as recommended. I love this EcoFlowDeltaPro3600 with 400W solar panel system for everything else that it can do. I love that I can power an 1800 induction cooker. I love the expandability options. For a ready to go system, it is a great price for its portability, storage, ease of use, ability to power up to 3,600Watts, and expandability. I would definitely recommend this product if you are looking for portability and all the other features. ... show more

  • Love it
Style: DELTA Pro+400W Solar Panel
I like this seems to work really well. I like that. It has the Bluetooth connection to your phone and it’s super easy to charge. I have not used the solar panels yet but I like that they are there in case I need them. I did plug in a 1500 W heater and the time it said it would run it but it’s two hours that was a bit surprising to me I thought it would last longer than that but sure it’s just a factor of the size of the battery. It’s a bit heavy, but that also expected based on the size of the battery. The handle to move it around is at the very bottom and while it’s in a great position when you are rolling it it’s a little hard to get to and get out other than that. I have no complaints about this machine. I really like it. ... show more

  • This particular unit is heavy
Style: DELTA Pro+400W Solar Panel
This is a revised review. In my original review, I spoke about how heavy this unit is, that is very true. At approximately 100 pounds, this is something I don’t want to be picking up off the ground to move very often. What I neglected to mention it is on a set of wheels and the handle pulls out a good distance for moving it where you need it. They have other models that depending on your needs, you might be able to purchase that don’t weigh as much and still meet your needs. We have a Honda generator and it is the 2200i. Since we have sensitive electronics, having an inverter generator is important. Unfortunately, we didn’t buy a big enough one for other important things like major appliances, such as refrigerator and freezer. Since gas prices are through the roof, we decided to get the Eco Flow Delta Pro since everything we read said it could run big items. We have had it for three days now and it took all day to charge the batteries. Yesterday we finally tested it on our refrigerator and it worked fine. We started with the batteries fully charged and it came up with 20 hours of run time. This will save us from having to run to only one store that carries dry ice that is close to us without the worry of losing a lot of food and things like milk that need to stay cold. I still need to test the charging with the 400-watt solar panel, but I expect that to work. Now it is hoping that we don’t lose electricity, but we usually do at least a couple of times a year. I feel that we will be ready if we do lose electricity. The only down side to these solar generators is they don’t seem to make an inverter model. Make sure you use surge protectors on what you plug into this unit just in case. With my test to make sure the unit worked was with one device. We will be attaching other items during a power outage which will reduce the run time. I still have not tried to charge the unit with the 400-watt solar panel, but will update my review as to my results when I do. ... show more

  • Flexible System you can Build in Stages
Style: DELTA Pro+400W Solar Panel
EcoFlow has the ability to expand as your needs change and can be built up in stages. You can start with backup power for keeping your refrigerator running for extended periods. It charges from a wall oulet so you don't need other add-ons to use it. With an extra smart battery to add into the chain, you can expand applications and power. The power station in the main component to purchase and add onto. The double voltage hub can connect two Delta pros to power critical house functions like a well, which we is what we've done. After that you can decide if you want more power of to recharge the system. The solar is nice because we can be confident that we can operate our well during extended periods. The expandability is nice as we couldn't take the plunge on a full system but could expand as time and budget allowed. You spend a little more getting into their system, but the flexibility over time has really shown it was the right direction for our family. I hope to expand our system further to aid in keeping my business more operational as well. The growing problems with the electrical grid are less of a concern now for shutting my business down due to power outages. The EcoFlow system is worth a look due it potential and scalability. The only negative for me is the size of the solar panels and their weight, but peace of mind regarding readiness for power outages compensates that aspect. ... show more

  • Delta Pro + solar panels & transfer switch on a typical sub-panel is our solution and we're happy.
Style: DELTA Pro+400W Solar Panel
We purchased the Delta Pro for electric emergencies. Typically our outages are infrequent and persist less than a few hours. The Delta Pro powers our heating and refrigeration and some lights and appears to be capable of doing so for at least a day. We also have the solar panels. We set up a generator port into our electrical panel with sub-panel for the items we want to power using the unit. Has worked well. Working on a remodel and will create a connection from where we would place the solar panels and readily available to the unit. We have a small house and few options that don't require a large financial outlay, but we're coming up with excellent compromises. It's not the perfect situation (rooftop solar panels and a battery array somewhere would be ideal, but our house is very small and the areas suitable for infrastructure are already occupied.) I think we'll be long term happy with this compromise. ... show more

  • Very Flimsy Solar Pane Kickstand
Style: DELTA Pro+400W Solar Panel
Solar Inverter and battery seems okay so far even though I haven't tested it in real situation as yet. 2 Major Negative Issues: 1) I cannot get it to connect to my 2.4Ghz band in my router. Could either be my settings or the inverter itself. Everything tested so looks okay, except.... 2) The kickstand support for the 400 watts is just plain Lousy. It is flimsy and hard to put together not to mention it doesn't keep panels very sturdy. ( Yeah, I know it was changed in later model updates. Guess this reason for low price on this model - Delta Pro w 400watt solar panel.) ... show more
