Great boots. I'm diabetic and my feet were hurting from my old boots, which meant time for them to retire. I usually wear Kodiaks, but I wanted to try out Sorel. My first pair and they're cozy and my feet stopped hurting. Good support in my opinion. I walk to and from work and also walk alot at work... these boots ARE made for walking. Based on reviews, I sized down. I usually wear an 8.5 but I got an 8. They're a little snug, but not in a bad way. I do not have wide feet. My heel doesn't slide, feels supportive and comfy. Still about .5-1 inch of space between toe and end of shoe. If the sides widen with wear (which boots usually do) these will still fit beautifully. I think I could have been okay with an 8.5, but I can't compare. Because of the fabric part near the ankle, there is some stretch and I can get in and out of the boots without struggle. These are very well made. I had "sticker shock" at first, but these are very comfortable and I know I'll be living out of them for years. It was a good purchase. Hard to find shoes this comfortable, cute, AND well-made. I'm going to wear them a few more weeks and make sure they're the one for me, then order more colors I think.... Hope that helps. I love these boots from Sorel. These were just like the picture! They are beautiful and comfortable and true to size! Sorel’s are a great boot and also look so good! This particular style is a go to for me! They wear well and last!

I really like these boots. Love the Sorel brand and quality. I got these at a great price! The grey is a nice color that will go with most everything. Boots were comfortable when I first put them on. They don't seem overly stiff and insoles are cushy. I sometimes wear a 7 and sometimes a 7.5. I ordered the 7.5. They fit well with thick socks. I think I would have been fine with either the 7 or 7.5. Happy with the purchase!! ... show more

Love these boots. So much. I have been searching for the perfect waterproof, comfortable bootie, and this is it. These boots are amazing. They do run a bit large, but most of the time I'm wearing thick socks, so it isn't too bad. However, I loved these boots so much, I bought a second pair in a different color and sized down a half size. I wear size 8 in most shoes (Brooks, ASICS, Bogs), but a 7.5 fit best. They are so unbelievably comfortable. I have foot problems and normally have to wear supportive tennis shoes when walking the kids to school (1.5 miles round trip). However, I made the trip in these boots without pain. Very supportive. And they're waterproof?! Amazing. I hope they make these for years to come. ... show more

I don't want to give these boots less than 5 stars, as they are such great quality. The workmanship is very great. They do run a little large. I should have taken half a size smaller. The leather does take a while to break in but it's not uncomfortable. I chose to keep them in the hope that they will work well with chunky socks. ... show more

These are just what I wanted. A cute waterproof bootie to go with me to Ireland. True to size. Removable insoles that I will replace with orthotics insoles. For me, they are not narrow even with a pronounced bunion.

I've been on the hunt for black chelsea boots for a while. I have a brown Sorel pair and love them so I decided to try the black. At this price point, these are definitely an investment shoe but I feel confident they will last a long time. Sizing was tough for me - took 3 tries to get it right. They are actually a full size smaller than my other Sorel boots - so for me, these ran big. I am generally a 9 or 9.5 in a shoe and I had to go with an 8.5 to keep my heel from slipping. ... show more

I currently own a pair of these exact boots in brown and i love them. I ordered the exact same boot in black, and the same size and they are HUGE!! The new black boot is almost 2 inches bigger than my current boot. I wear a size 6 in most all shoes and this size 6 is huge!!
