The day after it arrived we had powerful thunderstorms that knocked out power at our house for a few hours. I plugged the Delta Pro 3 into our generator transfer switch and it powered all our key circuits the entire time, silently. So much nicer than running a noisy generator the whole time.

After conducting extensive research, I decided to purchase the ECOFLOW Delta Pro 3 and two extra batteries. If you are shopping for backup systems, you already know they are expensive, but if you can catch a sale like I did, it does soften the blow somewhat. In addition, ECOFLOW's customer service honored my request for an additional price adjustment when the system went on sale for even less the day after I bought it. Kudos to them for that. I haven't needed to use the generator yet, but I have used a smaller ECOFLOW in the past, and I'm familiar with how they work. I plan to use this quiet backup at night and recharge it during the day when I'm running my gas generator. Solar panels are also available, but I couldn't justify the added cost based on my limited needs. Besides, I have to run the gas generator during the day anyway, and it will recharge the system while supplying electricity to my house. If you know your kWh needs and for how long, it will help you decide how much of a backup you will need. My only wish was that the extra batteries could be charged independently, but that would have likely just made them more expensive. I know I will be satisfied with the performance because I have read many positive reviews on ECOFLOW products.

I took this battery with me to western Tennessee when the floods happened last year and it’s work great …. I ran my rv all night …. Fridge and fan !! Used the solar panel and charged it up during the day !! I also got the fridge and heating and air unit …. Both worked very good ….. Kind of heavy tho
