I wasn't sure if I was going to order this dress, but I'm really glad that I did. The pictures of the "Navy Yellow" pattern in the online advertising doesn't do it justice. I thought it would be sort of washed out, but to the contrary, it's vibrant and saturated. The navy is a deep, rich blue navy. The flowers are well defined, in hues of salmon, eggshell, sunflower, latte, mauve, and a touch of cornflower blue (not turquoise, as I found out when matching my jewelry.) The cut of the dress is extremely comfortable. There's a wide band of stitched elastic around the entire bodice, which has a straight box cut across the top. It's modest and doesn't show cleavage on me personally, which is great. The bottom of the stitching sits above my actual waistline, so I wanted to pair it with several styles of belts. The only style that really looked like it worked well, due to the waistline height, was a metal chain belt that hung down for a bit of bling and interest. The petal sleeves are free and breathable, and would work with just about any sized upper arm. They're meant to be worn off shoulder to pull the bodice taught, but they can also sit on the shoulders, as well. The sleeves come down to just above my elbows. The bottom skirt doesn't have any embellishment, but it's very flowy and has a generous amount of room. Yes, the dress has ample pockets, too. As for sizing, I really could have sized down, but I sized up to match the measurements on the chart. Although the length was great, the bodice and hips are a tad bit loose. It's nothing that would prevent me from wearing the dress or make me worry that I would fall out of the top if I bent over, but it's enough that I could have probably been another whole cup size and at least an inch larger around the hips. Again - no big deal. It's still very comfortable and wearable right now, as is. The material is lightweight and has a bit of a silky feel. It's opaque, but I would still advise a slip. It's not lined. The dress is wholly appropriate for summer - but wear a knit cardigan with it, and take it right into fall. I'm looking forward to wearing it a lot. It's a great dress, and I would recommend it to other women.

I received this smocked midi summer dress in the green print which ended up being a beautiful soft sage green color. I absolutely love this dress and I don't say that often with any clothing purchased online. This is such a flattering dress all around, and I can tell that they put in a lot of thought with how they cut and fit the clothing to plus size bodies. First of all, the material is lightweight and breathable but it doesn't come off as cheap which often happens with polyester clothing. It's very comfortable AND I feel comfortable in it. My favorite part of this dress is the butterfly sleeves as they are the perfect length and have the best coverage for upper arms. There is no weird gaping in the arm holes that can happen with these kinds of dresses. The smocking is well done and is form fitting to the body. This runs true to size. If you want a little bit more breathing room, I would size up. This is the perfect easy summer dress that doesn't take much effort which is needed for warm weather outfits. I also think this dress is versatile for spring and fall when you layer with leggings/tights and a jacket. I think that it's worth noting that this dress is hand wash or gentle cycle dress with hang drying only. If you dry this is dress (or anything that is fabricated with 100 percent polyester) it will not keep it's shape and it will definitely shrink. I exclusively wash all of my clothing in a gentle/hand wash with hang dry so this is not an issue for me. I've been eyeing this dress in other prints, specifically the the beige and blue colors. I will have to purchase that soon because I am so impressed with this dress and brand.

I ordered this dress in the navy yellow floral pattern, in size 24 following the size chart, but it is too large for my 49-42-50 figure, so I should have ordered at least one size smaller. The smocked bodice allows a great deal of flexibility in fit, as well as the perfect amount of waist definition, but the back gaps at the top, and the sleeves are so loose they want to fall down and show my bra straps. The sleeves can easily be worn off the shoulder, if desired. The front fits me well, but I'm a 42H and I often need a bit more fullness in the front. This dress almost seems to have more fullness in the back than in the front, so I will have to take in the raglan seams in the back to snug up the neckline and sleeves so they don't show my bra straps. I love the floral pattern of the fabric, and I really love that this dress has full-sized pockets! The dress comes to mid-calf on me, but I'm 5'8" tall so it may be a bit longer on a shorter person. The polyester fabric feels more like a thin, breathable rayon, perfect for warm summer weather. Although I generally prefer wearing natural fibers, the fabric of this dress feels nice. I like the double-layer flutter sleeves, and find they allow great freedom of movement. I really like this dress a lot, and I think it's flattering, but I will have to alter it to make it wearable.

I'm always a little skeptical buying clothes off Amazon, I dont have the greatest luck BUT this dress fit me like it was made for me. I'm a size 16/18 and this dress hit in all the right places. It's so flattering and versatile trust me when I say order it in 2 colors. The sleeves were the perfect length, covering the top part of my arms. It was fitted around the breast and flowing around the tummy. The fabric is light and flowy but not cheap. IT HAS POCKETS!! I love this. I've bought dresses in the past where the dress had pockets right in the hip area and it made me look wider but for whatever reason this one did not. Since I was torn between the tan and the green I ended up with the tan and the color is a dream. I will be ordering the green one now. Side note: I was so excited to try it on, so the picture are before washing and ironing. It washed well, I can't wait for the rain to stop so I can wear it....
