  • Awesome Next Gen solar panels: UPDATE!
These panels are modular rigid panels. The picture originally made it look like the portable panels Ecoflow sells that are kind of unwieldy, but they are in fact true rigid solar panels. They came in two carry/storage bags, 2 panels to each bag. The first thing I noticed is how light they are. Total weight for the package was under 60 pounds, pretty good for four solar panels. These would be perfect for someone in an RV who needs to set them up for use and then store them for travel. As described, they are bifacial, the newest method of trying to capture the most solar energy possible. They come with integrated stands that will allow you to angle them appropriately for the best capture. One really neat feature is a built in solar guide that uses the sunlight to cast a shadow on a small graph for the best angle. This is incredibly smart and a fantastic option. These are the first panels I have seen with this integrated into the panel. Unfortunately, we have been experiencing snow storms and cloud cover so I don't have any data on power input. I hope to get something soon if the weather cooperates. I am incredibly impressed with the innovation included in these panels and similarly impressed with the build quality. These panels just feel well built and they look great too. I plan to figure out something light colored or reflective to capitalize on the bifacial nature of the panels. All in all, I am impressed with these panels and feel like they are a valuable investment for my solar needs. I am starting to really like these EcoFlow products! Keep up the innovation EF and keep the new products coming...they are awesome! UPDATE: now that I have had these panels for a while, I am even more impressed. These panels are incredibly easy to setup and use. The built in stand is sturdy and has an adjustable section that allows it to be angled just right. With these panels using new XT60W connectors, they are automatically in parallel without additional Y cables. If you are unsure what that means, do some research about series and parallel for solar panels. I have routinely seen four of these panels pulling in nearly 500 W of solar power! That is very significant if you are new to solar panel operation. These are so easy to plug in, set up, and take down. I have been working on a shed build and using these almost daily with a Delta Pro 3. They have easily powered a compressor, a table saw, and lights and still charged the DP3 batteries to full in only a few hours. I am still impressed and still highly recommend these. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. ... show more

  • Best EcoFlow Panel Best EcoFlow Panel
These panels are well made, beautifully packaged, and more importantly, very efficient and versatile. These panels constantly maxes out at 507w, light and portable enough to carry for camping or emergency usage, and can work with various portable batteries in the market. Though it's using the new xt60w connections to connect to one another in parallel, it comes with a xt60w to MC4 connector and finally a MC4 to XT60i cord to use on their Delta and River series of products. As an avid tent camper and RV camper, I have been looking for a highly efficient, light weight, easy to handle panel to power and recharge my Delta Pros and Delta 3 Plus with its respective extra batteries. I've had the EF 400w panels, which was heavy and cumbersome. And I've had the EF 220w Bifacials, but I'd need to purchase solar stands for it to max out its potential. These panels are rigid enough to withstand the weather (though you'd want to weigh it down if it windy), but its portable enough that its not a chore to set up or pack up quickly AND IT HAS A SOLAR ANGLE GUIDE for maximum watts. I have owned EcoFlow's 45w, 110w, 160w, 220w Bifacials, and 400w portable solar panels. I also have owned (2) 220w Newpowas, (3) Allpowers 600w (SPO039), and (3) Allpowers 200 (SP035). And I've never really liked them 100% because something was always amiss. The EF panels used its cases as stands but were awesome quality and very efficient, but were also super expensive for the higher rated watts panels. The Newpowas were not very portable at all for camping, but produced watts very well and was durable. And both Allpowers were inexpensive, but the quality control in their products were terrible. Either they barely produced, or the wires would come off the base of the panels. And their customer service was non-existent. These 125w bifacial panels are the best that I've ever owned. It was rigid enough to withstand the weather. Light enough to set up and pack up easily. It came with an integrated solar angle guide and adjustable stands built in. And it was so efficient that it produced the best of them all. And Ecoflow's customer service is top notch. If you don't believe me, go and deal with Allpowers or Bluetti. Finally the price is pretty reasonable. If you know Ecoflow, their stuff ain't cheap. But lately, they've been pricing their products as competitively, such as their Delta 3 Plus, River 3, and now these panels. In fact, I like these so much I bought another set of four! The only negative thing I can say about this product is that since its Bifacial, you have to really be careful not to break the glass. Though its durable, its still tempered glass. And just like any BiFacials, if you're not careful you can break the glass front and back. It comes with the territory of owning these types of panels. And I know I've praised it for being really light, but because it is, its more susceptible to the wind knocking it down. But that's a danger for all portable panels. You either have to deal with a heavy and cumbersome rigid panel that won't blow away, or something light like this and have to be mindful of the windy weather. I would just put some sort of weight on the panel legs (e.g. sandbags). In the end, these panels are awesome and I'm glad they released it. Now I'm comfortable enough to sell my 220w Bifacials and Allpowers panels because these have become my new daily driver for RV camping and emergency outage use. ... show more

  • A set of 4 bi-facial solar panels at 125 watts each is perfect for deploying flexibility A set of 4 bi-facial solar panels at 125 watts each is perfect for deploying flexibility
This is my second set of these 125 watt panels. They are really fantastic. I have owned the first set for about two months at the time of writing this review. I currently use them to power all the 12 volt systems on my travel trailer. They are paird with a Victron MPPT charge controller and a CHINS 320 AH LiFePo4 battery. Advantages: 1. Included in this package are 2 sets of 2 each 125 watt bi-facial panels. I can deploy as many of the panels as I need to fully charge my battery based on the expected available sun hours of the day and my usage. This is a huge advantage over "suitcase" packages in that you must deploy the entire array. If I only need one or two panels, then I can deploy only 250 watts, if I need to deploy all 8 panels (2 sets) then I can deploy 900 watts in the array. Perfect for Boondocking or sitting in an RV campground with shore power. 2. These have a very cool solar angle finder built in. It is easy to align and re-align the panels to get the best yield. Also being single panels connected by XT60i pigtails it is very easy to align the entire array 1 panel at a time. There is no need to manage an entire "suitcase" array at the same time, which is much more time consuming. 3. Bi-Facial panels do produce more power, even without a reflector on the underside. I get between 5 and 20% more performance from these panels depending on the surface below them. Cooling them by spraying water on them also increases their performance significantly. 4. Built in angeling stand is also useful for securing the panels to each other and the RV. I can run a steel cable through the legs of the brackets and lock them to my rv bumper, hitch, or dog leash connector. 5. Two of these panels are sized appropriately so that one person can manage the lightweight carrying case to deploy them quickly. They easily store at the foot of the queen size bed in my RV during travel. 6. While they are a bit more expensive then a "suite case" array the weight, flexibility and performance are worth the cost. Dis-advantages: 1. They use XT60i connectors. The (i) is important to know about. A regular XT60 connector will not work with these panels. While there are several adaptors included it would be nice to be able to reconfigure the array to make the best use of the panels in any situation. Even if EchoFlow offered 1' 2' and 5' XT60i extension cables to put between each of the panels that would be helpful to not have to disconnect each panel when re-aligning the array. There are only 6" pit tails on each side of the panels to connect them together in parallel. An XT60i series connector cable would also be nice. 2. These panels output in only 40 volts. This makes them unable to set them up in parallel to charge a 48 volt battery array. If you have 2 of these panels (4 are included in this offering) You can set them up in series for 80 volts, but you will need to make or find cable adaptors that will let you do that. This will allow you to charge a 48 volt battery with an MPPT charge controller. 3. These panels do get hot. It is hard to hanels the panels when that have been deployed and sitting in the sun, unless you have gloves on. This is not as true for "suitcase" type panels that have a cloth casing to grab and move. Of course if you want to be more efficient and have water available you can spray them down with water before you move them to cool them and get the added benefit of making them more efficient for a short period of time. 4. They are light enough that a small gust of wind will move them. A recommendation is that you weigh down the angle leg with something so they do not move out of position. I have had them move overnight when they were sitting out and it got a bit windy. This may meen using a rock on the back ang;e leg. I've thought about buying a set of weights to hold them down, but that is adding weight that I will be hauling. A velcro strap to hold the back angle leg together may make the entire array heavy enough to resist gusts of wind. 5. They are glass. You need to be careful with them. Many YouTube videos about how easily they can be broken have been made. While I have only had experience for a few months deploying them and packing them away I have found that being careful is always best. Though if you do bear one of them you can still produce power with the other 3, so the separate 4 panels is a huge advantage. If you are going to purchase a solar system for RVing then this is among the top portable systems you can invest in. I would buy them when the price is $500.00 on Amazon Prime day or when they are on sale. I will probably buy another 2 sets of them over the next couple of years. ... show more

  • Nice set! Nice set!
Lightweight. They put out some great wattage in optimal conditions. I wish the wires between them were longer so they would be easier to move as needed to follow the sun. However, I was concerned about them blowing over in the wind so I used tent stakes and extra road to loop through them just in case. Really nice panels for portable use when you need more watts. I don’t keep them up all the time, just get them out when I need them to help top of my ecoflow solar power units. This picture is just showing the set up. I don’t keep my unit in the sun. ... show more

  • Most power in a portable package
I needed something to help keep my Delta Pro topped off after storms or if out camping for longer periods. Yesterday I took them out for a spin and was very impressed. Why, because they delivered what they promise versus my experience with other panels. The built in alignment tool helped me get the max power throughout the day. I had 8 of them hooked up for a theoretical 1000w and despite not being on the best reflective surface(grass), they were making ~950w. The kickstands are better than the bag for the flexible panels, but could be a bit better. This is the only reason I didn't give them 5 Stars. ... show more

  • Amazing new rigid but portable 500 watt bifacial panels Amazing new rigid but portable 500 watt bifacial panels
Loving the EcoFlow 500 watt (125 watts per panel) Bifacial Modular Solar Panels, and it’s been an outstanding addition to my off-grid setup. Designed with a bifacial structure, this panel captures sunlight from both sides, increasing energy absorption by up to 25%. The front side delivers a maximum output of 125W each panel or 500 watts for the set of 4 (you can string together up to 8 panels) while the rear side can add up to 25% more by utilizing reflected sunlight—perfect for optimizing performance in any environment. The panels are highly portable and foldable, weighing only 16.8 kg (37 lbs) for all 4 panels, making it ideal for camping trips, RV setups, or home use. It’s built with tempered glass that is five times tougher than comparable models, ensuring durability and longevity even in harsh weather conditions. Plus, it’s IP68-rated for water and dust resistance, offering peace of mind no matter where you take it. What sets this panel apart is its versatility. I have the old rigid 100 watt panels and they are much heavier and you definitely can’t take them with you. These are so lightweight and easy to carry around but all the benefits of glass panels. You can actually leave these out in the weather 24/7 365. Unlike the foldable portable panels these will hold up in any weather and they look amazing! They will also work seamlessly with any EcoFlow power stations and other devices via an XT60W connector and also comes with an XT60w to MC4 connector as well as an XT60i to MC4 connector. The efficiency and performance of this panel have truly impressed me. For those looking for a cutting-edge, eco-friendly solar solution, the EcoFlow 125W (500 watt full set) Bifacial Modular Solar Panel is an excellent investment. ... show more

  • Very lightweight panels with fantastic production, over 90% of their rating but blows away easily.
I performed a test on a cargo trailer with a wooden platform, not very reflective, to test the bi-facial capability and general performance. They were spectacular, very lightweight, not flimsy though. I expect them to do even better on a highly reflective surface such as concrete or a lighter colored base. The only improvement is these panels are so light they need to be sandbagged or staked down or they could blow over. Would buy again and perhaps I will! ... show more

  • Be Your Own Superman And Harness The Power Of The Sun With These Puppies
I have been looking for some solid solar panels for my camping needs that could power my Ecoflow Delta Max 1600 and I came across these during the Black Friday sale. I tried to find some YouTube reviews on them, but I couldn’t find anything. So, I took a chance and bought a 4-pack of these 125-watt Bifacials. When I got them, I was excited to test them to see if they would even work with my units I take with me when I am out in God’s country inhaling the fresh air and freedom. Well folks, I'm happy to say that I am glad I rolled the dice on these bad boys. The individual panels are light and easy to handle unlike my ex-wife. They are easy to set up and has a solar guide on the panels which makes it so simple. It’s the little things, am I right?! The stand is easy to manipulate, but sturdy where it holds the differing angles. Most of my solar panels that I currently own like the Bluetti PV350, it’s a bother to unfold because of their flimsy stands and I only get about 270 to 280 watts. With these four panels, I regularly reach 500 watts on a clear day! I'm glad Ecoflow came out with these panels. Now I hope they come out with a rigid 220w panel, that would be the cherry on top! ... show more
