I ordered this after I saw "DIY Solar Power with Will Prowse" review on Youtube. This battery didn't disappoint. I already have 3 LiFiPO4 100Ah batteries from a different company and they are working fine, but I needed a battery that I would feel better about moving around. My other batteries are combined, being recharge by my solar controller and powering my shop. I wanted a battery I could put on my charger and carry around as a power supply for when I need power in remote areas of my property. This battery is much more solid than my other 3 units, the included carry handle is nice and I like how it is removable. The terminals seem very well built, They designed them to act as both posts or screw terminals and it is very easy to get either alligator clips or bolt on wires to fit. this battery delivers plenty of current for my needs, This is probably the best battery out there and well worth the money.

Batteries charge fine. I am using 2 strings of 4 batteries in series for a nominal 48 volt system. Unfortunately the manual does not say what the charging voltage should be. When contacting ECOflow support all they can tell me is the charging voltage should be higher than 12.8 volts. I have currently set my charge volt at 14.2 volts per battery or 56.8 volts for the string of 4 batteries in series. It;s working fine but should I be charging at 14.4 volts per cerll? I don;t know. Apparently the BMS shuts off at 14.6 volts to prevent overcharging so I am below that. Still need to do load tests.

Came at 30% charge. Hooked up to my charger and charged at a nice slow rate for its first full charge. The SOC is given in the manual from the OC Voltage. 100% is 13.6v, 50% is 13.25v, 10% is 12.8v, 0% is 10.0v. This will be connected to my Ecoflow Delta 2 Power station. Initially via a standard XT60 connector to the Solar / Car Charging port. Note: the XT60i Solar charging cable from Ecoflow no longer shows up on their website ??? so I will end up making my own :(

I did an Amazon search for a replacement battery for my lead/acid battery for my Chevy Avalanche, typing in all the model info on my truck, and this popped up. I knew lithium ion batteries were used in electric cars, so it seemed reasonable to me that they might be usable as replacements for lead acid starting batteries in ICE cars/trucks, too. But when it arrived, I found two problems: * Despite the description saying it makes an ideal drop-in replacement for a lead acid battery, it does not. First, it's too high, so didn't fit between the battery tray and the where the frame of vehicle bends in, near the top. I had to remove the battery tray, then bend the vehicle frame with a crowbar to get it to fit. * Apparently this battery only works in warm weather. The user manual says the following: You only get 100% discharge capacity at 20C/64F and above. It drops off rapidly below that. Charging temp 0C/32F - 55C/131F. Discharging temp -10C/14F - 55C/131F (but note that you only get 40% discharge capacity at the low end). Storage temp 0C/32F - 45C/113F. Optimal storage temp 20C/68F - 30C/86F. Based on the optimal storage temp, it sounds like it's only appropriate for indoor use. The description said it's "ideal for RV use" but apparently they mean inside a heated and air conditioned RV, used to power appliances, not under the hood, used to start the engine. Description needs "WARNING: NOT FOR USE AS STARTING BATTERY FOR VEHICLES !".

I've been waiting years to jump on the LifePo4 wagon. I've waited this long because most every thing out of China has been subpar, until now! The EcoFlow battery wreaks of quality. Seem that $200. must be close to rock bottom, so I bought one and I'm very happy with the very Non-Chinese like build. Thank you to EcoFlow for going the extra steps in making this fine product!
