Comes disassembled - I am not mechanical by any means, but I actually put this together. It took me 43 minutes and that was much longer than probably the average person because I was intimidated and had to double read everything and lay out all the pieces etc... But the good news is the Instructions were VERY easy to follow! So.. if you can read, you can put this chair together. The seat is nice and wide and very comfortable. The Back rest is also comfortable and molds to you. The arm rests are hard plastic, so I will have to see over time if that bothers me, as my current desk chair has cushioned arm rests. The arms are adjustable which is nice. The remarkable thing to me is that the air cushioned lever really works! You have to raise off the chair to lift, but once seated you can adjust the chair down for comfort. Overall, I think it is a good find. It feels very sturdy as well as providing comfort. Everything you need to assemble is included as well as the Handled Hex Wrench.

This desk chair took about 15 - 20 minutes to assemble, and feels comfortable. It turns and rolls smoothly. The arms can be adjusted a bit for width, and each arm flips up out of the way, if you want. Although this chair can be adjusted to lean back in, it seems to "fight against you" to want to sit back up. There is a good bit of tension in the tilt, so you will most likely not comfortably lean back and stay that way. The chair back is comfortable, but there is no headrest or lumbar support. For an inexpensive chair, the quality is quite good and serves it's purpose in comfort and style.

There are many companies selling goods made in China - the problem with most of them is not a product problem but rather a documentation problem. The EDX Office Chair does not have this problem - the manual is written by someone that knows the English language, it is well written has has photos and diagrams showing the complete assembly process. All the screws and parts are labeled, a t-handle allen wrench is included, and extra screws are included so that you won't be one short. The only thing that I did different when installing the seat to the chair base was to use washers (not included) under the screw heads I did call support which is located in California and asked a question about an extra screw that did not appear to be part of the assembly - my call was answered immediately by someone who asked me to send her a photo of the screw to see if she could identify it. She reminded me that there was a one year warranty on the chair. Other companies need to take note of the level of customer service that was offered. AS to the chair itself, it is nice looking and comfortable and is well made. Selling for less than $100 it is a good choice and is highly recommended.

My son goes thru office chairs faster than anyone I’ve met. He’s recently been using one of my kitchen chairs so I thought I’d get this one for him to try. And he really likes it! He spends a great deal of time gaming in his chair, so he knows what’s comfortable and what’s not. This one was easy to put together, very straightforward and clear instructions. Parts labeled well. Even the screwdriver included. The seat is thickly padded, and the back is strong and supportive. Arms can be up or down, you can adjust the height, whether it rocks or not, and the tension of the back. He actually really really likes it. For the price it’s a great value. Most chairs cost twice this or more. The only issue we have with this chair is that the wheels don’t lock. He’s found himself slowly moving away from his monitor when he leans forward to play. He can remedy it by sticking a little eraser behind one of the wheels, but it would be nice if they had the little flip button things that give you the option to lock them. Sitting at a desk working you may not notice yourself sliding back but if you use this for gaming, you might. And it’s not tiny either. He is 6’ and 185 lbs. you can see in the photo that it fits him well. Overall this is a great chair and I 10/10 recommended it.

So, this is a bit of a tough review as there are things I like and things I don't. But, as to the quality of the chair in and of itself, I do consider it a solid 5 star value. The chair does require assembly, but it really isn't too bad and they even include the necessary Allen wrench. The padded seat it firm, but forgiving and the mesh back is comfortable and supportive. The arms easily fold back, but are snug enough as to not cause them to flop back down. However, they are not padded. The arms are mostly smooth with just a very slight texture on the surface. They are comfortable on my forearms, but I feel the lack of padding on my elbows. In comparison, my other office chair has padded arms, but they are fabric covered and the fabric irritates my forearms, but my elbows prefer the padding. These arms sit lower than my other chair, which can either be a good or a bad thing according to how you are built. For me, they are a bit too low, but I'm on the short side average, so YMMV. The lumbar support is quite nice and as someone that has back pain, I appreciate this. Overall, this chair is a pretty good value.

This is a great budget friendly office chair. No frills and not extra features. It swivels and is able to lean back. The mesh cloth is perfect for ventilation for excess body heat. The chair is comfortable.
