The Snap buckle collar using Biothane material with a bungee loop combines popular features designed for quick on and off, comfort and contact reliability. Biothane is waterproof and odorproof keeping you and your dog happy and comfortable. High quality 33-inch long collar is for small to medium size dogs 10 pounds and up and fits neck sizes between 5 inches and 22-1/2 inches and may be trimmed to desired length for a custom fit. For extra small dogs 5 pounds and up with neck sizes between 5 and 15 inches we recommend the 3/4-inch wide by 22 inches long Mini Double Bungee collar. The heavy-duty metal snap buckle closes securely and the strong steel D ring may be used to attach an ID tag and leash. The collar is an ideal replacement to use with the Educator E-Collar with Remote Training system. The 3/4-inch wide collar is compatible with Educator ET-300 Mini training collar and training series 300, 400, 500 and 900 as well as Bark-less Pro model 504. All other series use 1-inch wide collar. Excellent upgrade for e-collar

I don’t know if the product description makes it clear that this is designed to be used with an e-collar receiver (sold separately) and not just as a regular collar. I feel like some of the reviews suggested this was a regular collar. To be clear, it’s not a regular collar. It’s not strong enough to control a dog with a leash. However, it’s perfect to replace the basic black strap that was included with my e-collar. I use the Educator ET-300 and this fits great. The bungee helps keep good contact of the e-collar while also allowing my dog to move more. I really like that. My dog trainer said the bungee is a great upgrade and I can see why. I also like that I don’t have to guess or adjust the sizing every day when I put this on. Just snap it on and go. Some colors have rivets and some have screws. The blaze orange has screws. I like the screws because I plan to replace the clasp with one that’s less likely to pinch. Also I can replace the clasp or bungee if they wear out in general. But I had a problem with the screws because they’re black - for the first week that my dog wore this, his white fur was turning grey under the collar. Eventually that stopped. I love the blaze orange and other fun colors. I do wish it had a reflective strip to match his other collar and promote safety. I saw a competitor brand offers this but that collar used rivets so was less versatile. So for now I use this one and it checks ALMOST every box for us. Overall I am happy with it!

Fits small dogs with a good trim down. Great quality and easy on/off.

Perfect fit (since you trim to size). My dog is a small terrier weighting around 11 lbs. This fit perfectly trimming off most of the strap to size. I love these bc the bungee quick snap means you can just snap open the buckle instead of the traditional collar. I love this bright orange color which looks nice on my brown and white jack. Easily fit the E-collar and the right thickness for smaller dogs. Cheaper than when I bought straight through their website. Great quality.

Lots of Info in my review! Educator Quick Snap 3/4" Bungee Dog Training Collar

These colors will last until your dog outgrows them. The collars are generously long, but DO NOT TRIM the length of excess collar off. Just deal with it unless your dog is over 10 years old. Our vet told us on MANY occasions that our young dog was done growing. That was at 36lbs the first time we were told. (It's a rescue with no history on it). By 2 years old, he was up to 67lbs and getting taller. Long story short, our dog is not almost 5 yrs old and weighs 90lbs, some of which is obesity. So leave room for obesity growth too. We made the mistake and cut the first collar so he didn't have so much excess collar then ended up with a collar that was too short a few yrs later. Now my color review: They are made extremely well of like a rubbery or plastic like DURABLE BIOTHANE – WATERPROOF, ODOR-RESISTANT & EASY TO CLEAN! It resists water, odors, fraying, and everyday wear while maintaining flexibility and comfort. *** PLEASE NOTE: I believe the color is 3/4" wide, and for a reason that has nothing to do with the size of your dog. The unit box that attaches to the collar and provides the communication whether it be a tone or a vibration to your dog (of any size) NEEDS a 3/4" collar to hold it affectively. We take our dog swimming a lot and not only is this collar waterproof but so is the E-Collar unit that attaches to the collar (as long as you have the rubber plug cover pushed closed on back on unit. Oh... IMPORTANT!!! NEVER EVER connect a leash to your E-Collar (this collar here) if you are using it with the Electronic Training Collar. Never.

Great collar, but not for my dog.

This collar was recommended for its adjustability. It has a softer feel than the traditional educator collar and has an elastic band that moves with your dog. The clasp is solid steel. Once it’s snapped in, it stays in until removed. No doubt it’s more comfortable than rigid plastic but my dog doesn’t seem to feel the contact points. I have a black lab with a thick coat so I know getting the right tightness is important. I have really tighten this for him to feel it, then turn the stim up higher than I’d like to get even a mild response. Clipping his neck fur isn’t an option as his skin is sensitive to irritants. Like all Educator products, this collar is well made, sturdy and waterproof. I really wish it worked for my dog. I’ll continue to use the traditional educator collar but will keep this as a backup.

Love for my dogs

I used the mini educators on all 3 of my dogs. Where the transmitters are different colors the receivers are not. During training I actually was correcting the wrong dog. I felt horrible. The colors ensure i know 100% what receiver goes with what transmitter, getting the collars on are 1000x faster and no fumbling readusting size. The clasp is metal so no guess if its clipped or not and more secure. Safer for the pups since it has a the elastic its not too tight and able to match the colors to each pups individual look.

Great quick release

I loved this alternative to the standard collar because of this quick release buckle. My dog doesn't wear a collar inside the house so its convenient to take it on and off quickly with just a buckle release. Very pretty color too

The rubber ban makes it better

I really like this one it’s very customizable I actually got rid of the buckle and just left the clasp. It has screws that allow you to do that. The rubber ban allows for tight fit and it’s flexing enough for dogs movement and it’s not as tight as regular collar. Also got the prongs since for long har dog original ones where not as effective.
