Description

Let your dog play freely outdoors and in the water, rain, or snow confidently with the Educator Quick Snap Bungee Dog Collar. The Snap buckle collar using Biothane material with a bungee loop combines popular features designed for quick on and off, comfort and contact reliability. Biothane is waterproof and odorproof keeping you and your dog happy and comfortable. High quality 33-inch long collar is for small to medium size dogs 10 pounds and up and fits neck sizes between 11-1/2 inches and 24 inches and may be trimmed to desired length for a custom fit. For extra small dogs 5 pounds and up with neck sizes between 7 and 15 inches we recommend the 3/4-inch wide by 22 inches long Mini Double Bungee collar. The heavy-duty metal snap buckle closes securely and the strong steel D ring may be used to attach an ID tag and leash. The collar is an ideal replacement to use with the Educator E-Collar with Remote Training system. The 3/4-inch wide collar is compatible with Educator ET-300 Mini training collar and training series 300, 400, 500 and 900 as well as Bark-less Pro model 504. All other series use 1-inch wide collar. I like that this collar is very adjustable with a buckle and it is very easy on and off with the quick snap once you have the proper fit. My dog doesn't seem to mind it! Very solid product for the educator "the boss" e-collar and makes training easier because of proper fit and good gear.

Great durability and design if you have a medium or large dog. Not so much if your dog is under 25 lbs. My dog is 16 lbs, and the collar couldn't adjust small enough to make good contact. They need to make a small dog version in the future. I found another aftermarket collar on Amazon that does the same thing and fits a small dog. ... show more

I really do like this collar for my Dogtra Edge RT E-collar. The biothane material is amazing for a collar. It is much better than the pvd material used on factory collars. I love that the collar fits the same everyone we put it on. My complaint with this is the length. I have a 66lb Labrador, not huge, but she is big for an American lab female. We were able to make it fit, but it had to be all the way tightened down. I understand there is a lot of hardware involved with it, but I can see sub 60lb dogs having trouble to get it to fit. ... show more

I’ve got a wiggly lab and a long haired golden retriever and getting the belt-type collars on was such a hassle. $30 felt like a bit much for little strap, but for something I use every single day…it’s worth it! My dogs are around livestock, ponds, and other messy things daily and the biothane is so easy to clean. I don’t know why I hassled with cheap collars for so long. Just spend the money and it will last you years. The buckle hasn’t rusted (yet) with all their swimming, nor has it clogged/jammed with all the sand they roll in at the farm. I do take care of my things, so monthly I give them a good wash, but still. My roommate has a cheap buckle one from Etsy but it doesn’t have the elastic and it’s difficult to get on the dog. I like how this one has some give with that elastic and allows you to snap that buckle. I will say, ONCE while my dogs were wrestling, the buckle came undone and the collar flew off. Hasn’t done it again so maybe it was just a fluke. It was a nightmare to find though, so I now have tags on my collars with my phone number because I don’t want to lose a $100 collar. I will say….it only goes so small, but it fits my 45lbs border collie with 4-5 holes to spare. She wears 16” regular collar loosely. That’s all I know. ... show more

I can’t speak to the longevity of the collar, but I will say that it feels very durable. It is the exact same material as the one that came with our Mini Educator e-collar package, and that one has stood up to heavy use for quite some time so I have high hopes for this one. We wanted something easy to snap shut since our very impatient and energetic Weimaraner can’t sit still for 2 seconds. With the snap closure, this was easy to assemble and went right on without any wrestling involved (hallelujah), so it’s a winner in my book for that alone! The neon orange color is so bright and makes it easier to identify her in a busy dog park, or anywhere really which is what we were going for. The only thing I’m worried about is the bungee portion of the collar stretching over time and eventually breaking, but that remains to be seen. I will post an update if this happens later on. I purchased two fast snap collars in different colors (blue and red) for my dogs, hoping to color coordinate their collars with their e-collars to the controllers and bark collars. Unfortunately, these collars are not the same in design, which has caused some frustration. The blue collar has screws on the rivets that allow adjustments from the bungee side, making it easy to customize and fit comfortably on my dog. However, the red collar cannot be adjusted similarly, and the snap ends up on the bottom. This makes it difficult to remove when I need to crate my dogs. (See picture) While I appreciate the adjustable feature of the blue collar, I'm disappointed that the red one lacks this flexibility. I had hoped for a consistent experience across both collars, especially after matching the controllers to specific dogs. It’s a bit frustrating that they don’t perform the same way. If you're looking to coordinate collars for multiple dogs, be aware that not all colors offer the same adjustability. ... show more
