I bought these speakers because they are active (no separate amplifier), have a relatively large woofer for a satisfying bass, separate mid-range and tweeters, have the latest Bluetooth 6, plenty of power for a medium room, and are attractively simple looking (walnut trim). I am a classical orchestra musician but not a big audiophile and was hoping to rediscover the joy of hearing a soundstage with instruments in an orchestra in their proper places while not spending a fortune. I have a few headphones (including some nice ones from Edifier); they just don't do it. I was very pleasantly surprised by the ease of setup, simple pairing, sound and stereo imaging of these rather substantial and weighty speakers out of the box. The sound is much more realistic than my boombox speakers or mid-range tv soundbar. I mostly listen to internet radio from iHeartRadio or Amazon music for example, so there is a lot of Bluetooth use. I briefly tried them at high volume levels and found a clear, powerful sound with ample bass without a subwoofer, but I mostly listen at moderate levels. After a couple of weeks with them I am very satisfied; I feel I got my money's worth from this purchase.

Great pair of active bookshelf speakers, especially at the price point. Substantial bass without a subwoofer, but there's a connection if you want more bass! The sound is clear and concise, perfect plug & play for greatly improved TV sound!!! If you are looking for a decent priced set of speakers that not only sound great, but also look great!!! Sturdy quality build!

These are great. I was super tempted to run studio monitors instead but the eARC is very handy with a TV. These definitely have a little more character but still sound incredible for what they are and blow away any sound bar. Yes, it’s not surround but a quality stereo imho is far better than a lower quality surround sound bar. The only negative so far is the rear facing ports. My TV is close to a corner and the rear facing ports really muddied the sound and bass. I ended up plugging the ports and it’s a night and day difference. Yes there is a dip in bass but it significantly tightened up the sound. Even without a subwoofer it is plenty for most people. I do wish it would dig a little deeper but it’s more than sufficient as-is and I don’t want to lose any space by having a subwoofer.

These speakers are replacing a pair of Bestisan SR01 bookshelf speakers that don't give me the presence and separation I had hoped for. But they were OK for my previous small space. These new Edifier R2750DB MKII powered bookshelf speakers are in my living room on pedestals on either side of my TV connected via optical ports and the sound is from another dimension. The three way speakers offer a full rich sound where you can hear details hidden by lesser speakers. The highs are crisp, the mid-range brings voices out front and the base is deep and punchy enough to make a subwoofer unnecessary. But if you wanted to add one, there is a port for one. Connection options abound. RCA, Optical, USB-C and HDMI. The power speaker has Volume, Base and Treble controls, a power switch. The included remote makes controling the speaker's functions or switching sources a breeze. There is also an app for iPhone or Android that allows you to control the speakers and includes a multi band Equalizer.

Had to pick up a second set ! Listening to todays Streaming ,CD and Remastered Music requires , 3 Way Speakers Minimum . Attempting to enjoy 32 bit 768KHz Music on a Single or 2 Way Speaker kind of like watching a Movie on 77 inch OLED in BLACK & WHITE ,you end up missing whole Picture . Never have I enjoyed an Acoustic Balance and Pleasure as simply placing 4 of these 2750s on DYNAMIC and spinning my Hybrid CDs ,listening to Hi End Streamed Music or even listen to Optical DIGITAL DOLBY on OLED . Promise there is nothing else like it available . Having Digital Decoding Powered Speakers 2nd to none .All you need is 4 of these at 20% Volume and you will experience listening pleasure unlike ever before .I can feel Bass thru my recliner hear Separation of instruments thru each Speaker from Mid ,Tweeter and Bass .Truly an Audiophile Experience . Do yourself a favor and get these 💯! They are absolutely amazing. Crystal clear and analytical without being boring. The highs are sparkly and crispy without being too harsh, the mids are really forward and crystal clear, bass is absolutely amazing, no need for a sub imo but if you want to shake the room it has a sub port for it! It handles all genres of music I've thrown at it so far such as metal, rock, rap, EDM, dubstep, jazz, classical, oldies, Jamaican style rasta or whatever you call it. Anything you want it plays well even older songs with low quality I've listened to when growing up sound better! I've had the swan os-10 which are magical for little speakers and I def want to explore more swans if I get a chance, edifier mr5 which slams hard bass and is awesome but sucks at rock and metal, fluance ri71 which was amazing and just as analytical as the edifier r2750db but boring. The speaker itself looks classy as hell, I got the wood grain one, it's still really dark and I barely notice it but man is it beautiful 🥰. Bigger than your avg speakers so make sure you read up on the dimensions. I would recommend 11/10 and I am def keeping these ones!

Loud AF, these have some serious power. They are big and heavy. Seemed very solid. Returned bc they too bright for my taste. Some highs were very harsh. I tried tweaking with an external eq, kept them for a week but ultimately I just wasn't happy with their sound.
