Good edge control gel at a great price. Not tacky or gummy, and doesn't flake or leave a white heavy build up. I don't use this gel to style "baby hairs", but I do use it daily to smooth flyaways. It's also great for styling sleek ponytails. It's full of hair healthy ingredients which is a plus, and it doesn't feel like it's damaging my hair when I comb it out at the end of the day. It's thick and highly concentrated, so a little goes a long way. To style and tame my blow dried straight 3c natural hair, I rub a dime size amount of the gel with just enough water to emulsify before smoothing it through my hair. The Gold Lux gives a more softer feeling hold, but if you like a more firm hold, try the Silver Lux; it's really good too...

I have fine curly hair so it doesn’t take much to hold them down, this doesn’t last on my edges at all. After an hour my swoops are now fluffs. It looks cool with the gold specks and feels strong enough initially but just doesn’t do its job. No flaking and smells nice too! UPDATE! I take it back, it does work. I kept trying it and it works for me IFI set my edges with a scarf. The product has oils in it for hair growth and yada yada so I feel like that’s was loosening me edges if I didn’t set them. Hope that makes sense lol
