I love this product for stitch braids. I do offer shampoo for my clients and I can tell you it’s best on clean hair or you will get a white residue or if you use a lot it will cause some build up. I really like this edge gel, it gives good hold without flaking & really makes my edges smooth & shiny. My only complaint is that my container was not full when i received it, it was a bit more than a 1/2 container, which isn’t good because I paid for the full 10.3 oz.

This is a great product. It works really well but the ingredients Fo-ti can cause Liver damage Fo-ti has been linked to liver damage, and in some cases, death. The risk of liver damage is higher with higher doses and longer periods of use.
