I'm happy with the quality for the price but wish the pleather color has slightly cooler undertones. It's pretty yellow. Also there's a huge gap between the bed frame and the headboard so I ended having to buy a 9" box spring to add to fill the space.

    • Broken after 8 weeks of normal use

This platform bed did NOT hold up to normal use. I bought this for my step-son that was coming to stay for 8 weeks this summer. He is 13, so he there was no jumping on the bed or any out of the ordinary use. After 8 weeks, the side supports have broken; one side broke so completely that the sideboard was resting on the floor. The support under the headboard ripped out of the screws and the headboard screws dislodged and punched through the faux leather front. I would NOT recommend purchasing. There are much sturdier options out there. Unfortunately for me, the return window has closed. If I can help one other person make a better choice, I'll have to be satisfied with that. I will be looking for a replacement bed soon as this one is basically unusable. ... show more

The bed is beautiful and looks high end. Everything arrives compact in the headboard. Very heavy box. I put it together myself and it was very easy and straightforward. (Would have been quicker/easier with help of course.) The only problem was the holes weren't drilled properly for the headboard rail. So I couldn't attach the support bar. It's easily fixable with a drill but still a little aggravating to go to all that work to not be able to use the bed due to a manufacturing error. ... show more
