A large will be loose if you are a true size 10 - small 12. I wish I had purchased the medium. I think these will fit a size 14 (and a large 12) the best. I kept the L, and will have to see if they can be taken in to make them work. They do not shrink after washing/drying. The fit is slightly long too (on 5’6”) if you want a true ankle/crop length. Otherwise comfortable pant, material is soft and a good quality dry wicking fabric. As expected, the material is thin but not see through (black). Light weight, slight stretch in the fabric and a loose fit in the legs (will be good for athletic calves/thighs - no cling) ... show more

These have a very flattering fit and nice breathable fabric. There is no drawstring (which I love!) They do fit a little more relaxed than I expected for if you are trying to determine what size to choose I would choose to size down. Still extremely classy looking and comfortable!

I bought these pants, loving the color and style, but they were way to big. I sent them back for a return two days after receiving the pants (it's been two weeks since I purchased and retuned the pants) and it has taken forever to get my refund (STILL HAVEN'T GOT MY REFUND). I ordered size 2x even tho I wear 3x most of the time. I’m quite narrow in the hips, but these pants are still extremely roomy in hip area compared to most pants. So much so that they hang ridiculously off me. The waist is also unusually wide and inseam is on longer end.
