At this point I own 4 Eddie Bauer throws because everyone (and the dog) love these blankets. They're thick enough and keep a lot of heat in and large enough to cover you from your tows to your armpits, unless you're over 6'. We purchased 7 of these throws, all identical, to give to our children for Christmas gifts along with a Christmas style pillow (not available thru Amazon). The throws were well received by all of our children who live all around our area. They appreciated the coziness, warmth, softness and color and will use them year around in their family rooms. This was the first time we bought identical gifts for our children and all were well appreciated. Due to the color (dark red and white) they are year round, not just limited to the Holidays. The married children stated they could have used two of the throws so both of them could use it at the same time. It was an ideal gift.
