I bought one of the cheap versions of these jackets, and found out that you get what you pay for. The other jacket had small rips, tears, and stuffing falling out within a couple of days of light usage. I returned it and bought this Eddie Bauer jacket and could not be happier. It’s lightweight, and can compress down to the size of a soda can for travel, but is warm enough to wear in colder weather down into near freezing temps to keep you warm. Has a hood for windy or rainy days. While it’s not completely waterproof, it does a nice job of keeping you dry in rain and the jacket itself dries quickly. Fits true to size, and is very stylish. If you’re considering saving a few bucks on a cheap brand, save yourself the hassle and buy the slightly more expensive quality brand. You’ll be happy with the value for money.

I now have three of these jackets, in different colors. Real goose down, harvested humanely. 650 fill power works well for me from 65 degrees down to around 40 degrees. When it gets colder, I slip an outer jacket over this as a base layer. The hood stays on well. Eddie Bauer means quality and I have no evidence to the contrary. It's a great value for a lightweight, but warm, down jacket.

Al momento de recibir el abrigo, primero no es de relleno 650 como indica las especificaciones del producto, es de 550, lo q se siente más delgado de lo que esperaba, además los costados no del mismo material, si no una tela licrosa de mala calidad y da un aspecto de producto barato para el precio que se paga la verdad no recomiendo a nadie comprar este abrigo ya que no es lo qué dice la publicidad, es una verdadera estafa, si pudiera lo que dejo en la tienda, con rótulo de ladrones, ya que no venden lo que publicitan. Y Amazon debería verificar y asegurar que el producto que se presenta sea el q se entrega a lose clientes y no prestarse para estas burlas de productos.

Great Jacket! This is the jacket I wear in the winter in North Carolina. Four stars because the discription says that the fill is down. The label says it is 80% down & 20%feathers. I would still buy it again for the price!

I have an older puffer jacket in a bag, which I use for travel in LATAM. I wanted something for just a bit cooler environment, this jacket fits the bill. I debated on the hood vs not, ultimately chose no hood, but I think it would be a solid choice if I spent more time in the Midwest. Solid winds in Atlanta with temps in the 30's-40's, this jacket was toasty, kept wind out completely. Collar goes a little taller than I thought I wanted, but with the breeze it locks out the wind. It does not have a pull cord to secure the bottom, but because it's a longer fit, I didn't find any breeze blowing up my back. Not sure about rain resistance, but will see, solid choice thus far.

Very lightweight, love this jacket ! Good for 50°+...maybe into the mid 40's if you were active while wearing it ? Great alternative to a hoodie.. I'm 6'2 & 210 lb got an extra large fits perfect. Very super comfortable, I like the fit a lot and quality is good. Definitely great packable, will take up virtually no room. I was on the fence for a while on this jacket after reading the reviews, I'm definitely glad I gave it a shot and got it, I would buy again. good replacement for hoodie, if you're looking for a down jacket to keep you warm in colder weather, I would skip it.
