Finally found a real blanket
Color: Mountain Village Blue/Ivory Size: Twin
Seems now throws are becoming a substitute for blankets. A lot of searching, and it was worth ferreting this out. Was a good price, has some weight to it, and is blanket size. I started looking at the shipping weight on different items to determine if it was a real blanket or not. Was good in deciding on this one. Haven't used it yet, or washed it, so won't comment on things I don't know. Just preparing for winter. True to color that was on the picture. Love!y, and the texture is cozy soft. ... show more

Nicely made, substantial blanket, cute pattern
Color: Black/Red/White Size: King
I love this blanket as you will too if you’re into warm and snuggly. It is not lightweight. It is extremely soft even after washing. The pattern is cute but a bit busy visually. It might trigger you if you’re prone to migraines with aura or are otherwise visually sensitive. If it bothers you, just flip it to the Sherpa side up. I love it as does my husband. Perfect for Christmas and a warm beverage. The Sherpa side is off-white/cream not pre white. Hope this helps! ... show more

Very soft and cozy..
Color: Chrome Grey/White Size: Queen
I often sleep in a recliner and wanted a soft and warm blanket. This one fit the bill very nicely. It's incredibly soft and will keep me warm until we starting getting super cold nights.

Very warm and well constructed
Color: Black/Red/White Size: Twin
Twin size, which I needed not for a twin bed, but I use it as a throw. At just over 6'2" a regular "throw" size either lets me keep my feet warm and chest cold or my chest warm and feet cold. Can't have both warm! This allows it AND I can share with someone else, too. There are a lot of choices out there for twin Sherpa blankets but I chose this one initially because of the (old, anyway) Eddie Bauer outfitter's reputation. They've gone a long way from their roots, but I thought I'd try it, and I'm not disappointed. All of these seem to be lightweight but the fabric seems well woven and "solid" (no tears in it as I saw for other reviews for similar products) and sewn together well (they're all basically 2 layers of fabric sewn together around the edges, as this one is). No "quilting" or sewing within the body of the blanket. But I've had no problems with the blanket pulling apart or one layer bunching up against the other. I have the Fair Isle pattern and it's very pleasant - it's red, white and black. It's a "print" rather than a weave (the pattern is printed on the fabric, not a pattern literally woven into the fabric itself, which is better), but done nicely and I haven't found any flaws in the print itself. It's very velvety on the print side and the typical "Sherpa" fleece (all white) on the other side. This traps lots of air and makes it VERY warm and very lightweight, easy to carry from room to room. Had a little bit of a smell upon arrival (it's polyester) but with one wash it's gone. Mine was clearly new (as it should be, though I saw reviews for other products suggesting that the person got a soiled, perhaps return, product), well wrapped in the original packaging. I'm quite pleased with it and if needed would purchase again without hesitation. Just wish that it was made in America (China, of course, if you were wondering). I did pay full price for this item so this is my honest, unbiased opinion. Hope it helps someone. ... show more

It’s what you’d expect for a blanket so big for 40 bucks, low quality but if I tried to make one myself it’d end up being worse. I’m not cheap just poor and needed a blanket. It does the job and keeps me warm.

Nice blanket
Color: Vail Plaid Grey/Ivory Size: Twin
After washing this blanket it fluffed up beautifully with hardly any lint shed in the dryer.
