I'm on a well that has heavy iron sediment and hydrogen sulfide gas. For the last 9 years I'd been using the FXWTC replacement filters and had to replace them WEEKLY. Finally, I tried this filter and it's changed my life. I am now on month 5 and it's still filtering out all the sediment and hydrogen sulfide gas with no noticeable loss of water pressure. Good value for the price. However 2 of the 8 cartridges were crushed with black charcoal covering inside of carton, not sure if still useable. Update, the 2 crushed ones are not usable, product needs better packaging.

I use this in my whole house water filter. Have ordered before and with a good fit. The only thing on this order, (it comes as a package of two) the wrapping on the two filters was damaged.
