Filter is great material and very happy with it. It comes in a thin cardboard box, and ships in a tyvek envelope, which means it arrived crushed. Second one came in another tyvek envelope. The cardboard box was still dinged up, but this time the filter itself didn't get crushed. This is a TERRIBLE way to ship this, put it in a box or it's going to get crushed. ... show more

Apparently there's two types of air filters for the tundras. Do your research before you buy one, but this one fit perfectly for me. The two types are distinctly different looking so it will be easy to know which you need if you peek into the air box.

So, I recently decided to give my ride a little extra love and swapped out the old engine air filter for the ECOGARD XA10242 Premium Engine Air Filter. Let me tell you, I'm pretty stoked about the upgrade – and I'm just a regular 26-year-old guy who's into cars. First off, installation was a breeze. I'm no expert mechanic, but I had this thing in place within minutes. Props to ECOGARD for making it user-friendly. Now, I can't say I've got a PhD in air filter technology, but I do know my car feels different after making the switch. The engine's breathin' easier, and I've noticed a subtle but appreciable uptick in throttle response. It's like my car's saying, "Thanks for the fresh air, dude!" I appreciate the idea of getting more out of my fuel efficiency, too. I mean, who wouldn't? It's like a secret weapon for saving a few extra bucks on gas.
