    • Got two units that would function out of the box

The first unit I got wouldn't stay lit. I went through all of their troubleshooting and tech support adjustment fixes, and it still would never stay lit. So I returned that unit, and had to wait on the replacement unit. When I did get the replacement unit, it seemed to be having the same issue with not staying lit. So I started the same troubleshooting procedures all over again with this unit. After spending a bunch of time adjusting this unit, found that it had a cracked gas regulator. The cracked regulator was leaking large amounts of propane from the bottom of it, and in turn burning up everything in the bottom of the water heater. They offered a refund of my money, but nothing else. I probably won't bother trying any of their products again. ... show more

So I bought this unit for an off grid cabin. After reading instructions & setting it up, it doesn't work. Manual & sticker on unit says call company. I do. I'm told that I have to make an appointment to talk to a service rep or go on line to for assistance. Hello? I'm off grid. I'm also told I can leave a message. I do and 72 hours later no return phone call. This is my 2nd unit. First one worked great. I'll probably go to a different brand to replace this expensive piece of junk. ... show more
