  • Reliable Rechargeable Batteries
Size: AA 8 Pack
I picked these up for everyday use, and overall they’ve been a good set of rechargeable batteries. They hold a good charge and last awhile. The 8-pack is also convenient as you get enough to rotate through while others are charging, which makes them great for regular use. For the price, they’re a great value, especially considering they can be reused many times and save you from constantly buying disposables. ... show more

  • Good but suddenly stopped working
Size: AA 8 Pack
The batteries work good. I've noticed they are slightly bigger than normal batteries so they don't fit every device. I have a few devices with them and they work just the same and are easy to swap out to charge. My only other complaint is 1 of my batteries just dropped dead; no charge, nothing. And now I have a device that needs 3 batteries, but I only have 2 because 1 just stopped working. I'd buy extra if you want to avoid having some missing batteries because of that. UPDATE: I've changed my review to 5 stars from the original 3 for the excellent customer service and replacement batteries. They reached out to me soon after my first review and offered a replacement as well as an explanation for why they are ever so slightly bigger than normal batteries but should work just the same. Excellent customer service and would buy again when needed ... show more

  • Eco-friendly and more wise than batteries

  • These batteries are slightly larger in diameter than some standard AA
Size: AA 8 Pack
I've been using these EBL 8 Pack AA 2800mAh Ni-MH rechargeable batteries for a while now, and they have been a solid addition to my household gadgets. Right out of the package, they were partially charged and ready to use, which saved me time. After fully charging them, I've noticed they hold power well, even after extended periods without use. They fit well in most of my devices like remote controls, flashlights, and gaming controllers. One thing to note is that these batteries are slightly larger in diameter than some standard AA batteries, so they might not fit perfectly in every device. However, for the devices they do fit, the performance has been reliable. The capacity of 2800mAh means I get longer usage between charges compared to other rechargeables I've used before. I appreciate that these batteries can be recharged many times, which helps reduce waste and saves money over time. Overall, these EBL rechargeable batteries deliver good performance and are a great choice if you're looking for dependable AA batteries that last. ... show more

  • Long lasting, Fast charging and Versatile. VR approved.
Size: 4 Count (Pack of 1)
At 3 years i have had no issues with these batteries. They are primarily used for my VR controllers which can go for a little less than an entire month without charging. It's been three years now since I bought them and are about to buy another set due to two of them missing and the other two taking the brunt of all of the use. They still seem to pull through with at least 2 weeks of life before charging. Considering it only takes about 2 hours to charge them anyway for the use you get out of them compared to one time use batteries.. these are literally some of the best rechargeable batteries you could possibly get for any use. and it really, REALLY shows in VR compared to any other device it could be used in. ... show more

  • Excellent high capacity low self discharge batteries
Size: AA 8 Pack
EBL is an excellent brand of NiMH rechargeable batteries! They offer some of the highest capacities on the market with an above average cycle count of 1,200. Their construction is of very high quality. The rated capacity is genuine and accurate. I have used my multi-meter and other tools plus my knowledge of batteries and electronics to test if these really are 2,800mAh and they are indeed pretty close to the stated figure. You can put your worries at ease - their claims of 2,800mAh is true. They are beautifully constructed of high quality materials and feel very solid. After having used these batteries many times in a very bright Maglite Mini PRO flashlight, I am very impressed with their longevity and capacity. They last much longer than alkaline batteries! Alkaline batteries would cause the flashlight to dim as soon as 1 hour after use, and fail around the 2.5hr mark (which is actually what Maglite claims). With these EBL batteries, the flashlight maintains 100% brightness far longer than alkaline ever has. Using the EBL rechargeable NiMH batteries, the flashlight maintains nearly 100% to 90% brightness for about 2.5 to 3 hours and will continue to operate for another hour or more (but at reduced brightness) until they need to be recharged. This is almost double the length at full brightness compared to alkaline, and almost double the total use time when including use after dimming begins to occur. Amazing! Unlike Alkaline batteries, these batteries will maintain their rated capacity even under high loads. One of the problems with alkaline batteries (which are typically 1,800 to 2,500 mAh) is that under high loads their capacity drops as much as 60% to 1,000mAh or less, and results in more wasted batteries. NiMH batteries do not suffer this same fate. They maintain a steady and constant voltage curve over the entire usable (100% to 20%) capacity. Testing with my multi-meter confirms that these EBL batteries have a very steady operating voltage curve under both high and low loads. I have also used these batteries in low drain devices and they last much longer than alkaline, and once again, in devices that produce light, those devices maintain full brightness far longer than alkaline. Alkaline batteries are really bad for the environment, and I am very happy to have made the switch to these EBL rechargeable batteries. Not only does EBL claim to reduce their impact on the environment during construction of their batteries, NiMH batteries are far less polluting to the environment once they need to be tossed and replaced. I cannot recommend this brand enough. If you're struggling to choose a brand of NiMH batteries, EBL is a great brand to consider. They offer a wide variety, are constructed of high quality materials that feel solid, and the rated capacity is genuine. They function very well under both high and low drain loads. ... show more

  • I put these batteries on a garbage duty. I have one of those sensor activated ...
Size: AA 8 Pack
Currently, Amazon is selling charger and/or batteries in the same product listing. Makes the reviews confusing, to say the least. I bought a set of 8 EBL 2800mAh batteries. Upon receiving, I gave them a full discharge (at 350mA) followed by a full charge (at 700mA). The pictures show the resulting voltage and capacity at the end of the charge cycle, while still in the charger. As a baseline (to prove that my charger is still working correctly), I've also tested my trusty Eneloop batteries (identical conditions), which are rated at 2000mAh. I've seen reviews claiming that these are not Low Self Discharge batteries, despite the manufacturers claims that they are LSD. Less than 1 day after charging and without any use, the voltage had dropped to about 1.37V. But that's not totally unexpected, as NiMH batteries tend to do that. Their claim to fame is that they can hold 1.2V during heavy operation much longer than Alkalines. I will have a chance to test how well it holds the charge and their LSD-ness soon and will update this review accordingly. Update (Jan/09/2016): - Confirmed these are not true LSD. They discharge much quicker than the Eneloop, which are true LSD. Not sure if the manufacturer changed the description recently, but it says "Improved low self discharge makes it still maintain 75% of capacity after 3 year of non-use". Technically, they could be right. I don't have an older version to say that these are not improved. And I don't plan to leave them unused for 3 years just to test the claims, but I offer some numbers below. - I bought these batteries for their capacity. I used them in my DSLR camera, which is a power hog. I'm OK with having to charge them before each use (because I have multiple sets of batteries, if you don't you may be caught off guard by them being empty when you need them). The Eneloops didn't last an entire soccer game, most of the time. These will last the entire game, most of the time. That's an improvement, I suppose. I still have the problem that half way through, the camera displays a low battery sign, but they still work. I suppose that's a problem with my camera, even though I have this same problem with 2 different cameras. - After soccer season was over, I put these batteries on a garbage duty. I have one of those sensor activated garbage cans that opens by a hand wave. It a low power, long term application, the exact opposite of the DSLR duty. Alkalines would last 4-6 months. These last 3, at most. It's clear that they fail due to self discharge, not power use. - I recently put them in a full discharge/recharge cycle, similar to what I did when I first received them. At the end of the cycle, the average voltage (while still in the charger) was 1.46V (pretty much the same as new), but the capacity had dropped to an average of 2700 mAh. ... show more
