Holds Really Well – Extra Firm for Sure I’ve been using EBIN Extra Firm Edge Control and it definitely lives up to the name. The hold is strong and keeps my edges laid all day without flaking or turning white. A little goes a long way, and it smooths my edges down nicely without feeling hard or crunchy. This is my new fav edge control. I usually test them by wearing it to the gym and though my edges weren’t the same after, they were still pretty much in tact. To be fair, I do pretty intense workouts. The only one that has lasted all the way through is the gorilla snot and earwax and that one has a little TOO much hold. I love the way Ebin smells and I do not necessarily have to use a scarf to get it to stay, though it does last longer when I lay it down. In my hair it does turn white, but a little bit of hair spray is a quick and easy solution to that. For context, I have natural hair that is 3c. On the other hand, my girlfriend has locked 4c hair. She has trouble with keeping her edges slicked down, but she used some of my Ebin during a recent vacation and just asked me where I got this from. It did not turn white in her hair. I guess it just varies from person to person but, again, just a little hair spray should get rid of that. I wasn’t initially going to buy this but I was looking at the maya double sided edge control brushes (which I apply this with) after the little $1 one I got from the beauty supply store broke. Long story short, this is my new fav. And the smell is honestly amazing! It’s like a fruity/floral mix.

I LOVE this brand! It works so well laying the edges down and it smells so yummy! We have 4c hair my daughter has some curls it works way better for my daughter though lasting longer on her edges.

The media could not be loaded. I mostly use the "Acai berry" due to its fragrance, but recently tried the "wild berry". Both have performed the same though as far as holding, but I have to say that use this in combination with GOT 2 B "glued blasting freeze spray"... I don't like ALOT of product in my hair, but honestly - when I am wanting a certain style , I have to use certain things to accomplish that. Sooo, I am happy with the combination of using this product with the Got 2 B (because) the gel works for me in the area of softening / conditioning as well as the smooth hold that I love --- but I apply the Got 2 B for holding as long as I want it to (since GOT 2 B holds on a more stiffer side), I get the balance that I want between hold and smoothness. I use this not just for edges, but for smoothing out the perimeter of my hair when doing updo's and pony tails with my natural coily hair. I USE THE GEL ALONE WHEN IT COMES TO DOING BRAIDS AND TWISTS WITH NATURAL HAIR AND HAIR EXTENSIONS THOUGH, it's perfect for me when using on various hair textures and have not found a hair texture that I do not like to use it on as of yet.

Greetings received the item on time. I have used this product it doesn't hold and leaves a high white film on the hair. the product did not come with a cover that's under the lid that should have been my warning. Also, the product smelled slightly old I thought at first it was due to the flavor. I wish it can be returned. in hopes my contents wasn't switched out. but disappointed.
