  • Long, reliable service!
Size: 1/2 HP 230V
We have several of these pond air pumps at the farm where I work. One pump which has run non-stop for at least 6 years failed a few months ago. The problem was the pistons/cylinder bores has failed. This was probably due to the failure of the external muffin (cooling) fan. I rebuilt it using a kit I found in the shipping box. I also replaced the cooling fan. This lasted a couple of months and failed again. This time, the failure was either one or both of the large, sealed crankshaft bearings. Seeing NO WAY to replace these, I ordered a new pump assy. Thousands and thousands of great service, but nothing lasts forever! ... show more
