I love this product! Being clear it goes with any shade of lipstick I would want to wear. The design is confusing because it is a plastic cover pencil and the end twists making you think you twist to advance more product. This is completely useless feature. I checked the CoverGirl website and found out you must sharpen this with a cosmetic pencil sharpener to get more product. Strange seeing as it is plastic with a twisting end but I tried and it works.

I ordered five clear lipliners that are suppose to keep your lipstick from bleeding. One of the lip liners had the tip broken off when it arrived. It was not usable. All of the lip liners were in boxes that were old and torn. The lipliners were very dry thus making them hard to apply. I wanted to give them as gifts, but the product looked like it had been on a shelf too long. I will not use Cover Girl lip liner again. I did not care for the quality of the product.

Excellent, anti feathering really works. Smooth and soft product. However, being a soft product means having to sharpen it frequently, or my lips are scratched by the woody pencil edges.

This stuff really works. I am not the biggest Covergirl fan-I don't usually have the best luck with their products. But I was on the lookout for a new product for just this purpose. I normally wear a lip primer from Too Faced, and that helps a lot with feathering. But sometimes I want to wear a lip product that I don't want to wear that primer with, or some products that are especially glossy or otherwise prone to feathering need something extra to prevent that. I am in my fifties, and I have lines that extend above my upper lip, so some products want to travel. It looks terrible when that happens, and I find it embarrassing. I have tried some other products for this purpose, and a lot of them are just junk. This really works. Easy application, invisible, lasts. It prevents the traveling and feathering and the lip products stay where they should. I highly recommend.

It works fine, but try to sharpen it. I have a drawer full of sharpeners from the cheapest to most expensive to ones “exclusive” for a certain brand. They all have the same problems: the tip breaks off in the sharpener (have to clean it out), it cuts the wood unevenly, in general, it’s work to use after the initial point it came with wears down. After the work, you’re still left with a tiny point and too much wood that scrapes your skin when you try to apply. That’s the case here. Cosmetics companies need to do better. How about a retractable point?

I am 72 years old with fairly deep lip lines and had been using a product from elf which has been discontinued. It worked reasonably well, but not perfect. I needed to find another product. I saw this one on Amazon and thought that I would give it a shot. It has exceeded my expectations!!! It keeps my lipliner in place and my lipstick has not bled and my lipstick stays in place even after eating. Just remember, this pencil has to be sharpened and is not automatic. So pleased that I ordered 2 more so that I don't run out.

I love the product, what I could use of it. Used it for 3 days, did what it was supposed to do but the mechanism of the pencil failed. Cannot twist the product up to continue using. The product itself works but the pencil will not advance. Amazon is replacing the product for me, hoping this one will work.🤞

This product works like a mechanical pencil with the white, , hard petroleum jelly type substance to apply to your lips before using your lipstick. To bring the product to the end to be applied, you twist the end cap of the stick. This twister just turns with no product emerging and no way to get the substance out of the "pencil" to use after one use only. It may be empty after one use or turner cap is defective. It is Covergirl product, stick states Made in Germany. Obviously disappointed to get one use out of this purchase. According to the Amazon website, this product is not eligible for return or refund but I made a request anyway (it's $3 only). I'd say buy something else for more money that works.
