I bought the couch cover because we have a cat that started peeing on our leather couch. ( if anyone has a cat you know how devastating it is because it’s impossible to get that smell out of anything they urinate on) I was happy with how the cover fit our extra large couch, but I was extremely excited to see how it protected the couch when our cat peed on it. The cover said it was water resistant, and it was! The pee was puddled on the cover and didn’t soak in at all, so it was easy to clean the pee up and with a cleaner sprayed on afterwards to clean the spot there was no sign or smell of cat pee at all! If anyone has a cat, you know how hard it is to get the urine smell out of anything they pee on. To have a cover that doesn’t soak up the pee, but to have it bead up on top of the cover to allow a paper towel to then soak it up is worth it’s weight in gold! This is a very nice couch cover. It is a very dark fudge like brown and matches my leather couch perfectly. It is machine washable and you can put it in the dryer. I have already washed mine a couple of times due to dog hair and it washes well and is super easy to put back on. The only issue I have had is that it does tend to slip down from the leather couch, so I am constantly having to pull it back up. It would be great if it was non slip, but other than that, it is good and serves the purpose ... show more

These were a gift that my daughter chose. She seems happy with them. To date, no spills or way to test their ability to resists stains or water. They fit well---smooth and correct size. In one photo they appeared to match the furniture upholstery very well. In another photo, they seemed darker. I gave good marks as I am sure that they will protect the furniture and will also stay new looking even with pets and people sitting on them. Overall this is a fine product. It fits fairly securely and the range of sizes makes it easy to find what fits your couch or chair best. The fabric is also soft and comfortable to sit on and so far has held up well to my dogs. My only complaint is that the elastic bands meant to secure the cover on each side are a bit loose. Nothing major, but just enough that my dog can get them off if he is particularly determined. That being said though I think this is an awesome choice if you are looking for something to keep your couch safe! ... show more

I have a very light tan recliner that has become quite dingy looking, especially the arms, back and head. I was ready to put it in a garage sale until I saw this cover advertised. The price was worth at least trying to see if it would give the chair a little more life. The gray cover was perfect over light tan chair. I bought 2 of these couch covers and 1 oversized recliner one. I cannot tell you how HAPPY I am with these. They go on easy and pretty much stay in place. (of course my couch is faux not leather so that helps.) I remove these every week to wash/dry them (so no dog smell in my house) and have had NO problems with getting them back on. They don't shrink or pill. I'm sure they'll eventually wear out but then I'll purchase them again in a heartbeat. BTW, my dog loves it when they're washed and smell good so she gets right back up when they're put back on. Good purchase, very pleased. ... show more

I have two indoor dogs, and use this to keep my couch clean. It does that job perfectly. Then just once a week throw it in the washing machine, and it looks good as new. My only two MINOR complaints are that the devices you stuff between the cushions have to be readjusted on a daily basis to keep the slipcover fitted properly, and that is with moderate couch use. Fortunately that is an easy enough task. Secondly it would be nice if the slip cover portion that covers the back of the couch were wider (longer). My couch is just a bit wider than most and the ends don't get good coverage. But again not really that big a problem and the ends of the back of the couch don't get that much traffic. It fits the couch nicely, and while the elastic bands don't really work with my couch, it is staying in place anyway, even when my 60+ pound dog uses it for parkour.
