I recently moved into a small apartment so I ordered a smaller sofa to fit the limited space. Why the seat was only 13" high, I don't know. I'm not limited in ceiling height and NO, I was not paying attention when I ordered it. But the sofa was too low for comfort. I also bought a new softer mattress & was about to store the 4" thick mattress topper from my old my firmer bed when it hit me to cut cushions from it & have them covered to raise the sofa seat height. I like these, they are very soft and stretchy. I saw these at my son's house and noticed how soft they were. The color is a little darker than I wanted but I think I'll keep them because I don't see another color that will go with the décor. I have a pie shaped piece in the corner of my sectional and I wonder if the medium size will fit. I don't see any mention of it anywhere in the questions and answers or the reviews. I guess I can try it and return it if it does not fit. I don't know about the water resistance because I just received them. I just received the piece for the corner of the sectional and it fits! They really aren’t too bad. We will probably end up reupholstering our cushions eventually. But this is a good trial run for having small kids and light colored furniture. Definitely love the cream white color with my decor. I used 3 mediums (back cushions) and three large (sitting cushions) wish they made an extra large for the long sitting part of the sectional. This cover is a great substitute for an expensive cushion cover that you find in other companies. The cover stretches and fits well. My only complaint is that the colors do not match the colors in the pictures. I ordered dark green but received a color that is really teal (it has a lot of blue).

I have tried all kinds of blankets and dog covers but these are the best in terms of being very easy to put on but they also don’t come off too easily when in use. I use them in the house but also for our camper (where the dogs apparently rule).
