Worked out exactly how I was hoping it would. Yes you need to maneuver it and make sure you are putting it right otherwise its not going to look right. Once you have done that this looks great. It wasn't that complicated to figure out. It took me like 5 minutes to put it on. I have an L shape sofa and this worked out great. I don't know how water resistant it is because water has not been spilled on it, yet. It's soft and streches so that you can get every crook and crany to make it fit over your couch. I bought this couch cover on Feb 8th to protect my new couch, I bought blue ,my couch is light beige , 8 months old . Today a side of the cover slipped off and I noticed the cushions under it were blue! I rushed to take the entire cover off and found that it stained my entire couch blue !! It’s Soft & stretchy, but doesn’t fit well. I measured my L shape sofa according (as shown) & ordered the proper size, but it BARELY fits over the entire sofa. Because it’s SO tight, the tubes meant to hold it in place pop out. The bottom tie-style was not easy to do. Perhaps if it was larger it would fit & look better, or maybe for a standard/basic couch. Size: 3 Seat Sofa + 3 Seat Chaise Color: Peacock Blue
I like that the covers are soft, and the color is great (we got the teal ones) but if the dog touches their nose to it there is a mark that doesn't go away until spot treated or laundered. We got a size larger than needed, and it still doesn't fit our couches. You're supposed to tuck the fabric into seams or behind cushions, and it doesn't stay. The "anti-slip foam" is a joke, and the cover pops right back out, now launching an 8 inch foam stick for the dog to catch and eat. We'll fix the covers in the morning, and every time you re-enter the room during the day it looks like everyone moved away and ran out of white sheets to drape the furniture with. The ties that go under the couch require you to lift the couch on one end or roll the whole couch onto it's back panel to tie them, and the bottom seam of the cover has elastic so they're not needed. Just another thing for the kids / cats to mess with. If the covers were (significantly) larger, I imagine they'd fit better, and we would be happier with them. But like I said, we already got a size larger than needed, and they still don't fit. But hey, they're soft? ... show more

I didn't have high expectations. But I figured it'd do the job enough until I could get a new couch. Looks nice when you first put it on & no one has sat on it. But it doesn't stay tucked & the foam thingies don't stay put, at all. Honestly this was also apart of my expectations but the fabric began to pill & look awful. Not vacuumable & too annoying to take off & wash. I will say the fabric is very waterproof, soft, & stretchy. I'm just a little mad at myself for wasting the money on this. ... show more

I was getting tired of my old leather couch peeling and was embarrassed to have family over, we have a family event coming up so I took a chance on these covers. Best purchase ever!!! They're easy to put on, you need to flip both sides in their backs and put them under the bottom first, then tie in the back. They look 100% better, I can feel better now with family coming over, looks like a new couch. Not sure how long the bars will stay in place but we'll figure it out later! ... show more

The material is very soft and comfortable, and it has potential to look good. However, to put them on, you have to tip the couch on its side to tie the cover underneath. The material shows every crumb and pet hair, so needs to be washed often. But to wash it, you must tip the couches on the sides to undo the cover, thus taking apart the living room every time you want to wash them. We live with dirty covers because washing them takes too much time and effort. The covers also come with foam sticks to stuff into the couch to keep the cover in place, but they don't stay. There's no way to make the cover look like it does in the picture. It's way more messy and uneven. ... show more
