I bought this to replace another splash guard I bought off of Etsy that was made with PVC vinyl foam. Overall, I like this piece better as it allows the water to drip forward and a mold doesn't gather. I will say the only thing I wish was that the left side of the tray was longer. I notice that most tray catchers are geared towards people with very specific sinks and not those that are used in most apartment buildings that have the a dishwasher air gap. The tray is more on the shiny side and definitely gets water stains.

Some of the other reviewers have the same problem as me - water stains. It does it's job and holds plenty of items including hand soap, dish soap, a sponge, and a brush. It keeps them dry and gives a channel for water to flow into the sink. There are sometimes small pools of water where it channels into the sink. I think that's the bigger difference in functionality. The water stains can be wiped down and cleaned off occasionally. A bit annoying, but I don't know what can be done to prevent that on silicone.

I wish I had measured my sink in both directions before ordering this mainly because it's too small for my farmhouse sink. However, I kept it because what's a few inches. I'm having issues with my dish soaps and hand soaps sitting on it thanks to the needed raised areas on it. I have to make sure to put them back just right for them to not fall down on this mat (it is also slightly angled downwards the sink which also causes some issues with it not wanting to stay on the mat). Overall it's doing what I wanted it to do which is to keep the mess of water going all over my countertops. Just wish my soaps weren't so against the new mat.

Not a good fit for my sink. Almost seems backward on make. Would probably work well on newer sinks without rims. Looks nice but unfortunately could not use. More in the way than helpful
