This had been an amazing stand, so far. I haven’t owned it long. Playing in the pit orchestra this stand has proven to be invaluable. It is easy for me to change instruments quickly and safely without damaging my instruments. The stand is very durable and folds up nicely to transport it.

Over all, the metal stand is of sturdy construction. I was disappointed to see that a few of the rubber parts had fallen off of the stand. Fortunately, I was able to reattach them easily enough. My main concern is that the "adjustable" screw is basically useless. It cannot be tightened enough to support any amount of weight, so the thumb rest holder can only sit at its bottom-most setting.

I’ve had sopranos damaged from getting tipped over on a flimsy stand, so I’ve been looking for a while for a travel stand that I felt I could trust. I got just that. It folds up very compactly in its own carrying pouch, but when unfolded it’s very sturdy.

The media could not be loaded. I am mostly happy with this Stand except that one peg is very wobbly when installed into a loose grommet that is not able to be tightened. So, in essence I am not able to use one of the two straight pegs. Other than that, it was a great price. Wish the grommet wasn’t loose so that I could give it a 5 star rating. I will possibly be able to fix it with some hot glue or something to keep it from moving in the little seated area.

I had a dance performance a few months back, and I ordered this stand to hold my saxophone on stage until the sax solo part of my dance performance came up. This stand is easy to fold up and transport, which was great for going back and forth between the dance studio and the theater.

Sorry to rate it so low, because the design should work. Really like the style and options of the pegs. However, the arm that holds the sax wobbles. When holding a tenor sax, the entire stand is on the verge of tipping over.
