I have only had it a week but have used it multiple days already. Note: I am 5'2" and have never been a tent camper and do not have experience setting up and taking down tents with stakes. 😁 I love that it is light weight; came with 12 stakes; poles, stakes and sand bags all have their own bags to protect the tent & keep things organized. I bought it for an outside bug free place to sit when glamping in my travel trailer but it is now my affordable screened porch for my patio or anywhere I want to sit in serenity at my timbered property. This would be great for sitting at long outdoor sports tournaments; parents wanting to work or play outside but have a little who needs a nap but want to easily check on them and to protect from bugs & sun; family gatherings to get out of the sun & take a break from bugs; food prep area at a campsite; small or old gentle pets who want to be outside but need some boundaries and protection from sun & bugs. I started by setting it up on my patio and used landscaping rocks in the 6 sandbags. It was easy to set up. It stayed in place really well in very light wind. I then flattened it but didn't completely fold it away to move it to the backyard to try it with the stakes. It gets windy in my backyard so I put stakes all around the base and using the rope lines attached to the sides. We enjoyed some bug free evenings in my heavily timbered backyard. Had light wind. Things I really like: 1. Each of the pieces come in sturdy bags to help prevent damage and to keep things tidy. 2. The bag makes it easy to store on a hook or nail in the garage, basement or a closet. 3. Not even the tiny little gnats invaded our space. When we were in the backyard, I could see all the little insects on top but the dogs and I were bug free. 4. The screens do not block the view. 5. If you follow the instructions, everything can go back in the bag. It took me 3 tries the first time I folded it because I didn't understand step 3. 6. I am glad it does not have a bottom for the times I use it on concrete or gravel. 7. The 10'x10' has two doors. Both have heavy double zippers. Tips: 1. Unfold it slowly to see how it folds and practice refolding from the flat panels BEFORE you set it up so you remember. I unfolded it slowly paying close attention but wish I practiced. 2. If like me, you don't already have camping equipment with stakes, a kit with a mallet and stake puller is handy. 3. I used a heavy duty canvas tarp from Harbor Freight underneath. Feels like an outdoor rug but folds small like a tarp. I left my tarp out until I had the screen tent folded so I didn't need to kneel in the grass. 4. If you are setting it up in the wind on your own, putting 1 stake in one of the base locations acts like having another set of hands while you get everything shaped correctly. 5. Make sure you close the zippers before staking everything. I took it down today because of forecasts of high winds and storms. I am not interested in testing it in those conditions. It did keep the heavy dew off the furniture in the morning.

Think of this as a portable screened-in patio. My wife and I are in our 60's but we still like to camp. Being in AZ, the only place to camp in the summer is at 8000 ft. The late, 11-man tent we were using took too much work to set-up. With my COPD, I would get winded a have to take a break every 2-3 minutes because the air was so thin. Enter this cool pop-up! Our tent had a screened in porch and that was our draw to it. This unit more than meets that need. I set it up without reading the instructions, in 10 minutes. I did stake it but it was up. It has 3 bungee poles to support the ceiling/roof. It's not square but measures 10' between the "points". 8 was able to take it down and put it back in the bag in 5 minutes! It's going to be perfect for our purposes. We will sleep in the back of our SUV and hang out in this when we're not doing other stuff. For two people, it's large enough to keep your cooler, a small rectangular general-purpose table for a camp stove, eating, etc, an end table and a couple chairs with room to spare. It's going to make our camp set-up simplified since our outhouse is a pop-up design as well. Other reviewers complain about taking it down. I watched the video a couple of times when I ordered it and I got it to fold up properly on the first try!

It took me a while to pick this cover mainly for our camping/lake/beach trips. Now after several uses I must say we are very happy with this. It is super easy to set up by one person, and after you master the technique it is two minutes to fold back down. It is light weight and our 10ft version is very spacious. It fits above a camping site picnic table snuggly (if you want more space around that picnic table than part vi the 12ft version). On the waterproof questions, we just had a super rainy day yesterday, the top is fully waterproof and no water came in. Some rain came in via the side nets depending on the wind direction but overall it kept us dry during a strong storm. When it is super hot, the inside could become hot so you should probably keep the door open to let breeze in. All in all, cost effective, efficient and a great buy

A shade structure that is easier to put up solo but you may have to WWE smack down it to get it down the first couple of times. How the panels fold into one another will play a part in how you get it down. If it doesn't twist correctly the first time, check to see if the panels collapsed down correctly. It's super easy to put up and will withstand wind a lot better than a Ez up, but make sure you stake the lay lines. It's not waterproof but it will keep out water more effectively than just a shade cover, bring tapestries for even more shade coverage.

I bought this for an upcoming camping trip and it's awesome! My son and I did a test run, which was very easy. We used the tether lines because the wind kicked up while we were working. The wind got much worse after we were done, so we decided to see how it would do overnight. It didn't budge! Surprisingly solid for a pop-up tent. When I got up in the morning, I took it down by myself, which was a simple process. For reference, I'm 4'11"... that should tell you that anyone can do this. It's also easy to get it back in the bag, which was a concern for me. Definitely watch the take-down video. Very helpful. We got the 10' model in beige. The size will be great for cooking and relaxing in the shade. It's also great that the screen is so tall. My son is 6'2", so he appreciates being able to walk in and out without ducking. It's very light weight, which is my favorite part since I used to use a heavy metal-framed pop up that was a huge pain to pack and lug around and required two people to erect and put away. While camping in the past, we've had issues with flies and yellow jackets swarming while we cook. This will make our camping trip so much more comfortable. 10/10 recommend
