Only issue is the screw holes for the L bracket for the door were covered by the vinyl finish material. Pulled one of the "straps" out of the way to reveal the screw holes(placed L bracket where it should go to find location of holes.) Otherwise, assembly was easy but directions could be much improved.     • Fast To Put Together, But Enough With The Mystery Box

First off, this is pretty easy to build. It takes about 30 minutes if you have things in order. It came in a box that the delivery driver was unsure if it should be delivered. So the cardboard was separated, shredded, and unfit. Luckily the inside was crated in supporting cardboard forms. The biggest problem is that there is a second box. It's the glass surround that sits on the table. When this ships, that is not included and apparently will come "later." Well, it's been a couple of weeks, and later never came. Amazon was great about it; they sent me another one, but the entire table. So it's on the way, and I'm hoping the second box also comes, eventually. The table without a shroud is OK. You'll want the glass; it helps prevent the searing heat from escaping onto the tabletop. The wicker-like material is excellent and seems like it will be waterproof. The product gets four stars for all the shipping confusion, but I'll bump it to five if I get the glass shroud in one piece. UPDATE: East Oak Makes Things Right East Oak customer service reached out directly to fix the missing box problem. It's taken a while, but the table with the good-looking tempered glass shroud is a delight to use. I'm updating my review to five stars. If, for some reason, you don't get both boxes, reach out to East Oak, and hopefully, they will make things right. ... show more

Fire table was easy to assemble but one of the end panels was 1 inch too narrow for the mounting holes on the underside of the table. We were able to assemble it enough to use it with the narrow panel while waiting for resolution. We contacted the manufacturer by phone. They answered right away and after we documented the issue with pictures, they shipped a replacement panel without any fuss. Great customer support. We like that the glass wind guard panels can remain in place with the burner cover installed. They look great so we leave them in place all the time but could remove them if we wanted use the entire table as a flat surface. It comes with 7 pounds of fire glass which looks good but doesn’t cover the burners. The manual says don’t use more than 9 pounds of fire glass for some reason. We prefer the flame to be more random coming up through the glass rather than the straight lines of the burners above the glass. We purchased 10 pounds of 1/2” mixed color fire glass on Amazon and changed out the fire glass putting just enough glass to cover the burners and arranging it so it isn’t piled on the sides.
