The game selection is silly, it's way smaller than expected, and it's just kind of an off brand feeling toy. That said, it is a lot of fun in the sense that it can be played anywhere, and it is a huge hit with my youngest two boys. This can be used stand alone entirely as it has its own battery. Included is a USB for charging the main system/TV battery. However the controller needs 2 AAA batteries that don't come with it. It is wireless. Also include is RCA audio/video cables if you would like to play on a larger monitor. The main system has super loud capable sound and a good quality monitor. I was impressed. There is a cute little dial to turn it on/off as well as change the volume. It looks like an old TV dial. It has no TV functionality itself otherwise. The low price makes it a great value with everything you get and the amount of games. You have to buy an additional controller to get the 2 player support.
