  • Great fun for all ages
Color: Pink
This little system is really cool I think. I really enjoy games like these because it gives me a chance to explain to my kids and grandkids how we use to play games like this. I grew up on the original Nintendo and this is in that same category. I like things that me and the kids can play together and I still understand whats going on and how to play. Not to mention you can take this anywhere and play it even without internet. I am very pleased with this game system. The price point for less than $25.00 is amazing. This is a quality, lightweight, easy to travel and functional gaming for everyone. I definitely recommend this for all ages. I hope my review has been helpful for you. ... show more

  • Delightful little device
Color: Wood
So it's important to know what you're getting into before buying one of these: this is essentially the modern iteration of those '400 games in one' plug n' play boxes. You're not getting a ton of depth or polish, but instead a bunch of bizarre NES-style knock off games and the like. There's nearly 200 games included, but a significant portion of them are just different forms of Tetris or fish games. However, if you're aware of that going into it and don't see that as an issue, this is a really neat little device! There's virtually zero set up, just turn the knob and it fires up with the controller pairing automatically. It's got a built in rechargeable batter with a micro-usb connection, though the controllers themselves require triple As (not included). The little tv is practically weightless which is surprising, there's a tiny board with the games on them connected to the screen, and the back half of the shell makes it totally portable. The games themselves are quirky and pretty fun! It was cool just having this in my glovebox to throw on my dash and play some tetris for a bit. It's sturdy and well-made, buttons seem responsive without any lag, and it's genuinely a lot of fun! Would be great for young kids or a little novelty stashed in your desk. ... show more

  • Ready out of the box
Color: Green
I was able to turn this gaming toy on and immediately begin enjoying the games. Although the "tv" itself is rather small that is one of the great things about the design. The size of the toy makes it so easy to transport while it maintains all functions that were bult into it. The battery being rechargeable is another perk for my household. The toy seems to be made with quality in mind all the way down to the TV's rabbit ears. The retro look of the TV and controller are perfect complements to the available games and appropriate to the time period being paid homage to. ... show more

  • Good nostalgia value
Color: Blue
Opening the shipping box to playing a game took a couple batteries (for the handheld control) and a couple minutes. Very simple to operate. The games are displayed six-at-a-time on a visual menu. The buttons can scroll the list to the next page of six. Getting through the whole list takes a bit of time. The games have intuitive names but it's not always obvious which 'old arcade game' they are emulating based on the name and the menu screen. None of the games are the same as the old classics - they're just "like" them, often simplified. Both components are made from solid plastic. I have no doubt they will last through many, many hours of play. The handheld feels about right in the hand. The display console is small and light-weight, but sturdy. The display component has built-in, rechargeable batteries. The little antenna thing is just a plastic bit that does nothing but provide looks. The game play is pretty fun, but I'm not sure there's a lot of long-term replay value. My tweenager lost interest after about an hour. I guess that will vary by the gamer. For me, it was fun to play a bunch of older style games for nostalgia - and there are a lot included. But, at least for me, there's not a lot of long-term replay value here, either. The games are just too simple for that. Most of the games do have a two-player mode, but it's the hot-seat, controller hand-off variety of "I play, then you play, then we compare scores". ... show more

  • Portable Nostalgia with Multiplayer Fun
Color: Blue
This retro handheld console offers 168 classic games that run smoothly on a clear 3.0" screen. The rechargeable battery lasted through several sessions without needing a charge. The AV projection feature and included second controller make it easy to share the experience. It’s a fun throwback for adults and an entertaining, educational toy for kids. ... show more

  • Cute little gaming system.
Color: Pink
Tiny little TV, looks much bigger in photos, though photos show the size dimensions, just make sure you look. Games are similar to those that came before the Atari. Can hook to TV tho, and can be fun if youre looking for simple games, as its easy to use and set to TV. The games can be fun, as long as youre not a big gamer. Its battery has lasted hours so far, without a charge after unboxing. Seems to be worth the money thus far. ... show more

  • Amazing device
Color: Wood
So cool super handy brings back tons of memories and it’s just awesome to play with and the fact that it’s rechargeable makes it that much better for when the kids are in the backseat. No my plan on something and the controller will even connect your larger TV just in case you wanna play

  • So stinkin’ cute!
Color: Blue
The media could not be loaded. Ok I grew up in an the era and actually watched tv on a set that looked so much like this with an antenna —except it must have weighed 300 lbs. As a kid I would have never dreamed I could have something so small crammed with fun games and so much fun in such a small package! I got this for a developmentally disabled man who grew up in this era and is still a big loveable kid at heart. He will love this. It’s easy to get running with a great charger. Batteries are needed for the control panel but it was ready to go from the box after putting the batteries in. Is great visually, the sound is very good and it’s a lightweight but durable little TV. This would be great for kids in long car trips. I’m having fun playing it! ... show more
