First off, the videos were helpful in putting this together. The problem is that they changed up the plastic piece to hold the row marker with a velcro strap, but did not mention this in the video or the list of package materials. So I was looking around forever thinking I had dropped a piece and just figured since the strap was not listed either that must be what I need. The good: it is a fairly sturdy piece of equipment and I like the different discs for seed size. It did help to not have to bend over to put in the seeds. The bad: Unless you have extremely soft soil for your garden, this does not work well. Our soil is clumpy and although it would disperse the seeds, the little chain would not back cover the seeds. A few times it would either double seed or it would not spit seeds out for 2-3 rotations. The row marker is extremely flimsy. I don't understand why you cannot secure it one side or another. If it hits the smallest bump the arm just bounces up and you have to keep resetting it. Overall, it is an ok piece of equipment. If we had maybe better garden soil it would work better. ... show more

It's not as sturdy as I expected, but I suppose it's good that it's lightweight for the garden. It does its job, but doesn't do well in clumpy soil. The row marker won't stay in its little bracket when not in us, which is pretty annoying. Other than that, I think it will be an extremely useful tool!
