Buyers need to carefully read the product information – these are not MADE of teak wood, the seller says they’re treated with teak oil. In spite of that claim, the wood seemed quite dry when I assembled it, so I treated everything with a good layer of teak oil myself. It made all the difference—They look twice as expensive now! They’re beautiful once assembled. Make sure to square everything up before you tighten the cams, so the benches fit well between them. Also, be advised that there are NOT liners to the planter boxes. I simply placed a large planter on a couple bricks to raise it to the right level, and that looks great. ... show more

I’m not one to normally leave feedback, but this bench is amazing! It was packaged very well, VERY easy to assemble and it’s beautiful! My whole den smelled like teak as I was putting it together (obviously good quality). I put some Thompson’s Water Seal on it for extra protection as the Florida heat is brutal on outdoor furniture. Definitely a great bargain and highly recommended. Oh, did I mention I received it in less than a week!? 😊 ... show more

Ordered two to replace another pair made of a product that rotted out. Hopefully teak will last. Not having bottoms and using planters may be an assist to longevity. Less expensive than previous also. Recommended

Love these planter/benches! We recently installed a pool and needed to add some flowers. These planters allowed us to add colorful plants and additional seating. We painted them white to match our Adirondack chairs and we couldn’t be happier. As others have mentioned, there is no bottom. So, we bought some cheap 14” diameter planters and added a pseudo bottom from scrap wood. We couldn’t be happier. It gave us the look and functionality we were looking for. The instructions boasted a 30 min assembly time, so we had a two person competition to see how quickly each of us could assemble the two planters with the bench. My son assembled it in less than 10 mins and I came in second at just under 12 mins. ... show more

One year later, full sun and rain exposed tabs they still look beautiful. We used teak oil at installation for additional protection and will add more soon. They are very beautiful and study. They have some sun and rain wear but overall I could not be more pleased. I would buy a boatload to make sure we have them forever if I could! ... show more
