The blanket has a good weighty feel to it even though its isn't very thick. It hangs over the on either side about 10". When a client is on the table under it and the sheets, there is about a 6" overhang. It's easy to move for draping and doesn't get in the way.

This blanket while not thick is heavy enough for cooler rooms. Love that it stays put and doesn’t slide around but doesn’t feel heavy! Great neutral color as well. I’ve tried lots of different ones and this is my favorite by far.
