Correct for those larger food items or anything where you need a large vessel to store and keep fresh. They have a lock and lock system to close the cover. Nice silicone seal within the inner portion of the cover. Thick material to keep from damaging and to store for a long while. Clear so you can see what’s enclosed. Four in a pack. Great for rice, cereals, baking ingredients, art supplies, sowing fabrics, anything really. Air tight water tight. It also comes with each container chalk labels with pen and a scooper labeled with cups/ML. Amazing. That was the best part. To be able to have a scooper within the item if for baking etc to make life easier when in use. They stack nicely if need. The only flaw I saw was when having to remove them as they were packed. It was so hard to take the one out of the other. It was wrapped in plastic then squished into the other container. I had such a hard time. These are just what I was looking for! I’m a frequent baker and I’ve always used masking tape to close up my bags of ingredients. No more! I’m using these tubs for my baking ingredients and I’ve got one for flour, sugar, powdered sugar, and brown sugar. They are a nice size and they seal tight to keep things fresh. I can actually fit all 4 tubs in my overhead cabinets too, which is surprising. I could also see using these tubs for cereal, snacks, or rice. The sealed tops seem to work well so I don’t expect any moisture or anything getting in, so that will help extend the shelf-life of my ingredients. Very satisfied!     • A vast improvement over what I've been using.
Which are Half gallon pickle jars. They eat up a lot of counter space which, in this overpriced, under maintained poorly laid out $#!£ Hole apartment is a precious commodity indeed. The shape and stackablity of these containers will free up some some prime kitchen real estate. The scoops are a nice addition though it would be nicer still if there were one for each container. There are labels and (I assume) a white marker with which to write on them. That's nice, I guess. I don't, as a rule, bother with the cutesy chalk board labels, preferring instead to make my own with Gaffer's tape and a sharpie. As far as I'm concerned they might just as well not have been included. I'd much rather have another scoop than a sheet of small, blank stickers. Still, on the whole a mighty handy set of containers that will be very useful to me. A couple of minor gripes notwithstanding, I don't regret ordering them in the slightest. ... show more

These food storage containers are awesome. I finally found a set that offers 4 large containers in one set. Most sets I have had multiple sizes, and some of them are small. With this set, you get 4 large containers, each big enough to hold at least a 5pound bag of flour or sugar. As an extra bonus, you even get a scoop for each container. The lids have a silicone seal in them to keep them airtight when you snap them shut. The lids line up and snap close with ease. I'm really liking these storage containers! They have tight fitting snap closure lids, with a silicone ceiling inside to make for an extra secure seal. These would be great for pasta, rice, baking ingredients, and much more. I'm using mine for baking supplies, and found that they are just the right size for a 5 lb bag of flour or sugar with none left over. The chalkboard labels and measuring scoop are nice bonuses. Large capacity air tight storage. I felt these were rather affordable for what I recieved. You get the four containers and lids, scoops, tags and marker. They hold a huge quantity. I'm thinking, since we've relocated to Florida, I'll be using for dry baking goods (ziploc bags were suffice previously). I'll definitely be considering more of these as I figure out where I can utilize them without using up too much storage space. They're excellent quality, thicker plastic. The lids snap on pretty easy. I haven't used the scoops yet bc we already have some but, they'll make for excellent backups. ... show more
