I’ve finally found the "Holy Grail" of clip-on earbuds. My journey here wasn't short—I started with AirPods (3rd Gen) for exercise. While I loved the open-ear convenience, they never felt secure enough during active workouts. That led me to the clip-on form factor. I started with the QCY C30, which was eye-opening in terms of security and comfort, but the slow touch sensors were frustrating, especially with sweaty hands. I then moved to the Baseus MC1 Pro for its physical buttons. It was great until it broke, but my biggest gripe was the lack of wireless charging. Coming from the Apple ecosystem, having to plug in a USB-C cable just for my earbuds while my phone and watch charged wirelessly was a major inconvenience. Looking for a replacement in early 2026, I realized that wireless charging in clip-on earbuds was only available in premium models costing $200 or more. I wasn't willing to spend that much. Then I heard about the EarFun Clip 2. I waited for its release while jumping back to my old QCY, and it was worth the wait. Why this is the winner for me: 1) Secure & Comfortable: Perfect for active exercise (no more fear of them falling out). 2) Physical Buttons: Accurate and responsive, even with wet or sweaty hands. 3) Wireless Charging: Finally! It fits perfectly into my existing charging station setup. 4) Great Battery Life: Reliable for long-term use. 5) Open-Ear Design: I can communicate with others easily without taking them off. 6) Unbeatable Price: It offers all the premium features I wanted at a fraction of the cost of the $200+ big-brand alternatives. I’m not an audiophile, so I’ll leave the technical sound analysis to others, but to my ears, they sound great and I have no complaints. I really like the open ear earbuds; I have small ears and they are much more comfortable than all other types. I had used the Tozo brand for over a year, and while comfortable, I was never satisfied with the audio quality. The sound quality on these is very good. They also hold a charge well, connectivity is fast and consistent, and the control button is much easier to use.

Following a recent firmware update, the overall user experience has further stabilized, with no significant usability concerns observed. These improvements in clarity are particularly evident when compared directly to the Clip 1. The device continues to distinguish itself through an advanced and versatile feature set. (Updated review) I have never used open ear earbuds. I've used in-the-ear ones but found them to be uncomfortable. I've also used small, over-the-ear Bluetooth earphones, but my glasses interferred with them. So I was glad to find these for use in public spaces. (I have big noise canceling headphones for use at home when I want to block out all other sounds.) A problem with these for me was the case the earbuds fit in. It may be no different than any other brands' cases, but I have to say that I had a really hard time with it. My fingers tend to be dry, and this slick case slipped out of my hand way too easily. Trying to open it was a real chore. I had to put small pieces of masking tape on the case to give it some grip. After posting my initial review, the folks at EarFun contacted me about my issue with the slippery case, and it was suggested that one of the silicone covers made to fit their case (available on Amazon) would make the case less slippery for me. I'm happy to report that it is grippy enough that I no longer have the problem with the case slipping out of my fingers. Regarding the quality of the sound, i'm never used this kind of earbud so I have nothing to compare them to. Although I haven't tried them in a wide variety of environments, I can say that I am satisfied with the sound I get while still enabling me to hear the world around me.

These are legit!! For the price, totally worth it, I also own the shokz opendots, have owned several different earclips and these are not as good as the opendots, but close..and for a fraction of the price..comfort, battery, sound, call quality..worth it for sure if you like this style..

This is the third pair of Clip 2. The audio is so good, but another store doesn't have white, so I buy it here. First time use: pairing It's kind of headache. Make sure the protective tape on bud removed and press the button by the charging port, and pair. After pairing, go to the app to update firmware to 0.3.0 (or higher) for more consistent experience. Battery seems to be good even LDAC is active (this is a must for Android device) It stays on the ear for longer without removing or taking a break. The fitness is great for extended listening. Calling seems to be fine as the other end doesn't have problem hearing my voice. The real button is a major plus as it doesn't have operation problem. I am satisfied even after 3rd pair. It's simply a listening pleasure.

Decided to read the reviews and give them a try. The sound quality is respectable and they are comfortable. Battery lasted thru 4 1/2 hour flight with 60 plus battery life left. Price was reasonable. I usually have a lot of discomfort after an hour with my earbuds. The Clip 2 were never uncomfortable.

I have tried many different earbuds to use around the home and when running. These are the best ones: - Easy to hear what is going on around me (cars when running, family members talking to me). - Super comfortable to wear. I keep them on a lot, even if talking with someone else and they are not playing. - Physical button is great and easier to operate than touch sensitive that some other clipon earbuds have. - Sound is great for me. Mostly audiobooks, podcasts, and some music.
