These are sturdy and well made. They have just enough space for the 4x4s to easily slip into the brackets. I did have to grind down the a little bit of the corners of the 4x4s for them to slide all the way in due to the welds in the corners of the bracket getting in the way. I also took off one star because the included lag bolts did not match the finish of the brackets (the bolts were silver). I had to buy black lag bolts to match. This might not be an issue for everyone. Overall I am please considering the price I paid.

I am using these to build a small carport for my vintage Jeep to keep the rain, sun and snow off of it since I don’t have a top for it. These corner brackets make construction of a simple structure like this much easier if you are a beginner level woodworker. They also look very nice with the black powder coated surface. All of the holes in the bracket are pre drilled so you simply just have to screw these into the wood you are using. If you don’t tighten the down all the way at first it makes it a lot easier to square everything up as well.
