It’s perfect! I’m pretty excited about this, because I was looking for something specific to go with my favorite lip color, Clinique’s (famous) Black Honey*. It turns out, elf’s Cherry Cola Sheer For It Blush Tint, is the perfect lip stain for me, underneath Black Honey. It’s also very pretty on its own, at a very reasonable price. The tint is a good mix of berry (cherry) and brown (cola). I apply it to my clean, dry lips, the applicator wand has a helpful shape, so it’s easy to get it exactly where I want it, without extra product getting on the skin around my mouth. The bottle also has a piece of plastic so that after dipping the applicator into the liquid tint, it pulls off excess fluid. I put on 2-3 layers of lip tint, allowing each layer to dry, before applying the next. Then I use a clear universal lip liner, to trace my lips, and last, apply the BH lip oil, or lipgloss. I still have to reapply that last step frequently, but not as often as before. Even if my BH gloss or oil is gone, having this elf stain underneath, it still looks good. I’m including pictures of this elf tint, next to the BH lip products, including one of the BH lip oil, elf Cherry Cola tint, and BH lipgloss, on the back of my hand. You can see how well they go together. Also a pic of the tint, open, to demonstrate both the applicator and that little white piece of plastic that helps draw extra fluid off. Elf is a good brand, and very reasonably priced. I don’t have a single complaint about this product, I definitely recommend it. When I run out, I hope it’s still available to purchase again. *C’s Black Honey is the most popular lip color right now, because it’s a perfectly balanced red, so it’s flattering on warm and cool complexions. I have yellow undertones, I love the berry shades, but I didn’t think I would ever get to wear one, without my teeth looking yellow, and my skin looking sick. The only problem is that it has zero staying power (on its own, <20 mins and it’s gone), which is frustrating when it’s coming from an expensive brand like Clinique. I really like this lip tint. It gives a natural flush of color that looks effortless, not too heavy or sticky. It feels lightweight and moisturizing on the lips, almost like a balm. The color lasts a good amount of time for a tint, and it fades evenly without looking patchy. I love that it’s small enough to carry in my bag for touch-ups. I’m not a big makeup person, but sometimes I need a touch of color, otherwise I can look a little washed out as I get older. I used to rely on Benefit’s original Benetint, but I’ve realized that cooler-toned, plummy-berry shades flatter me more. Instead of splurging on another Benetint shade, I tried Elf’s Sheer For It Blush Tint. The color is gorgeous -- a berry-purple that works beautifully with my cool-neutral light skin. The formula feels nearly identical to Benetint -- same liquidy consistency, same easy application, and just as long-lasting on the skin. At this price point, it’s a no-brainer. I was excited to try this new e.l.f. blush tint after hearing so many good things about it. And let me tell you it delivered, it was a stunning shade that instantly brightens my complexion. It’s perfect for a no-makeup makeup look — just a soft flush that makes you look naturally healthy and fresh. The pigment blends beautifully and doesn’t fade throughout the day. The bottle will last me forever I have already used it many times and brought it on vacations and not a single dent has been made. My only complaint is the watery consistency, which makes it a little tricky to control, especially if you like precise application. LOVE this lip tint! This lip tint is honestly amazing. It goes on super smooth and feels really light on the lips — not sticky at all. The color is so pretty and buildable, so you can go for a soft look or layer it for more pigment. It lasts a long time too, even after eating or drinking. I also like how it fades naturally instead of getting patchy. Definitely worth the price and I’d buy it again ... show more

The color is great and is easily buildable, however, it doesn’t last very long. The color fades after about an hour, eating and drinking makes it fade much faster. Does dry lips a bit so I recommend a chap stick or gloss over the top yo add moisture. Haven’t used as a blush but probably won’t buy again. ... show more
