I got this purse for my wife, and she really loves it. It's simple, stylish, and the perfect size for when she just wants to carry the essentials like at a wedding or on date night. It'll fit a phone, small wallet, and maybe some sunglasses and lipstick. The brown color of the pebbled leather combined with the gold metal is very attractive. The leather, stitching, and zippers are all of high quality. The inside of the purse is just one open compartment, and the small case and shoulder strap can be removed. The shoulder strap is short, so the purse can only be worn pretty tight under the arm. It also comes with a nice dust bag which is great for storing it in. Overall, it's pretty expensive, and you're paying a premium for the name brand, but I still recommend it if you're looking for something stylish, compact, and of high quality. ... show more

I love all things Kate Spade and was really excited to try out this purse. The pebbled leather in this beautiful brown color is my favorite and I love the asymmetrical style! As expected with this category of handbag and branding, the purse arrived beautifully boxed and packaged to ensure no scratching or damage and included the dust bag on the inside making it a highly giftable item. Note that this is a tiny purse. You are only going to fit essentials into it and the cute little attached 'purse' is just the right size for a lipstick or key or a few dollars. The gold zippers glide smoothly and the strap attaches securely. I particularly like how nicely this tucks under your arm for going into crowded spaces. Unfortunately for me, I use a Galaxy S23 Ultra phone and even though I only have a slim case on the back of it, it's just a smidge too large for this purse. If I really force it, it would work but I wouldn't want to be battling with it each time. Instead, I will likely pass it off to my daughter who is already trying to claim it from me! I HATE carrying a handbag and prefer just my phone with a card case on the back in my back pocket. However, anytime you have to go anywhere that requires keys, glasses and a few essential items for the day, there's no other way than a bag of sorts. I LOVE this bag because you can tell that it is very well made and looks sleek, simple and unassuming so it will go with any outfit. It holds the prefect amount of basic items like a cell phone with room to spare for the keys and extra junk. There is a little mini coin-type purse attached to the side that could hold a lipstick for quick access and is a clever idea since it is not intrusive and can easily pass as a decorative feature or can be removed if you prefer a super simple look. The short strap makes this bag a complete under the shoulder and armpit fit that will keep your bag easy to tuck in place in crowds and if you need to use both of your hands.
